Friday night, the Baltimore Orioles will give the ball to Chris Tillman (13 – 5, 3.26 ERA) as they take on the Toronto Blue Jays and Drew Hutchison (10 – 13, 4.51 ERA).  It will be the 34th start for Tillman and the 32nd for Hutchison.

In 2013, Tillman was 2 – 1 with a 3.31 ERA in 5 starts against the Blue Jays.   This season, he is 1 - 2 in 3 starts against Toronto.      

Drew Hutchison dropped his 2nd straight game in his last outing.  Hutchison gave up 2 runs (on 2 solo home runs) and 5 hits in 4 innings of work.  He walked 3 batters and struck out 6.  Hutchison has been tough to watch in some of his starts in recent weeks and he is just 3 – 4 his last 10 times out.  He missed the 2013 season recovering from Tommy John surgery. 

In 4 starts against the Orioles this season, Hutchison is 2 -1.   Baltimore is batting just .186 against Hutchison with 30 hits, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs in 161 at-bats.
