Wei-Yin Chen (12-3) will be going for his sixth win in a row when the Baltimore Orioles take on Drew Hutchison (7-9) and the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday night.

Left-hander Wei-Yin Chen had another strong start last Friday when he defeated the Seattle Mariners at home. He went 7.1 innings in that game and allowed just one run on five hits while walking one and striking out eight. He has struck out 90 batters in 124.1 innings this year and he now has a 3.76 ERA.

Blue Jays third baseman Danny Valencia has two hits in his seven at-bats against Chen with a double and an RBI. Anthony Gose is the only other Blue Jay who has faced Chen and he is 1-for-1 against him with an RBI.

Second-year starter Drew Hutchison only made it through three innings against the Houston Astros last week, but he took a no decision rather than a loss. He allowed four runs on six hits in that outing while striking out two batters and walking no one. Hutchison now has a 4.65 ERA on the season and he has struck out 111 batters in 122.2 innings of work.

Orioles infielder Jonathan Schoop is the only player on his team who has hit a home run off of Hutchison, but he is just 1-for-7 overall against him. All-Star Adam Jones has just three hits in 15 plate appearances against Hutchison with three strikeouts.
