On Tuesday night, Bud Norris (8-7) will make the start for the Baltimore Orioles when they face veteran left-hander Mark Buehrle (11-7) and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Right-hander Bud Norris had a strong outing against the Los Angeles Angels last Thursday, but he ended up with just a no decision after getting no help from his offense. He pitched seven shutout innings in that start and allowed just eight hits while walking one and striking out four. Norris has a 3.69 ERA on the season and he has given up 8.3 hits per nine innings, which is a career best.

Blue Jays catcher Josh Thole has five hits in 15 at-bats against Norris with a home run and three RBI. Colby Rasmus has hit two home runs off of Norris, but he is just 5-for-27 overall against him.

Mark Buehrle was able to pick up his 11th win of the season last Wednesday when he defeated the Boston Red Sox on the road. He pitched 6.2 innings in that game and allowed just one run on six hits while walking one and striking out two. He currently owns a 3.11 ERA, but he has given up 152 hits in 142 innings.

Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis is 20-for-45 against Buehrle in his career with five doubles, two home runs and seven RBI. J.J. Hardy is just 3-for-28 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.
