Right-hander Miguel Gonzalez will be coming off of the disabled list for the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night and will have to face lefty Erik Bedard and the Tampa Bay Rays in his first game back.

Miguel Gonzalez last made a start back on May 30 against the Houston Astros ended up picking up his fourth loss in that game. He went 6.2 innings and allowed two runs on five hits to Houston while walking two and striking out four. On the season, he is 3-4 with a 4.17 ERA and he has 50 strikeouts in 58.1 innings of work.

Rays outfielder Desmond Jennings is 5-for-19 against Gonzalez in his career with three home runs and six RBI. Veteran Ben Zobrist has just three hits in 21 at-bats against him with four strikeouts.

Erik Bedard had one of his shortest outings of the season last week against the St. Louis Cardinals, but he ended up with a no decision rather than a loss. In that game, he went four innings and gave up three runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out four. Bedard is 3-4 this season and has only allowed three home runs in 56.1 innings.

Outfielder Nelson Cruz has seven hits in 21 at-bats against Bedard with a double, two home runs and four RBI, while Delmon Young has just two hits against him in 21 at-bats.
