Bud Norris will be taking the mound for the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night when they face Cesar Ramos and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Bud Norris was only able to go 5.1 innings in his matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates last Thursday, but he did well enough to pick up his second win of the season. He gave up just one run in the game on seven hits while striking out three and walking one. He now has an ERA of 3.94, which is half a run better than his career mark.

Norris is one of David DeJesus' favorite pitchers to face, going 7-for-13 against him with two home runs and four RBI. James Loney has a .529 batting average against the right-hander in 17 at-bats.

Cesar Ramos will return to the mound as a starter after serving as a reliever in his last outing. Ramos' last start came on May 1 against the Boston Red Sox when he gave up one run on one hit while walking a season-high six batters. His ERA is a solid 2.91 on the season.

Ramos will not be looking forward to facing Orioles' shortstop J.J. Hardy, who has five hits in nine at-bats against him with a double and two home runs. Ramos has done well against outfielder Adam Jones, though, by holding him to just one hit in eight plate appearances.
