23-year-old Kevin Gausman will go for his fifth win in eight starts for the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon when they take on 10-game winner Sonny Gray and the Oakland Athletics.

Kevin Gausman pitched five good innings against the New York Yankees last Sunday and came away with his fourth win of the year. He gave up just one run on fur hits in that start while striking out two batters and walking no one. Through seven starts, Gausman is now 4-2 with a 3.29 ERA and he has struck out 26 hitters in 38.1 innings on the mound.

A's outfielder Coco Crisp has two hits in his three at-bats against Gausman and is the only Oakland player who has hit a home run off of him. All-Star Josh Donaldson is 0-for-3 against Gausman with three strikeouts.

In his last start, Sonny Gray pitched 7.2 strong innings against the Seattle Mariners on the road and ended up picking up his 10th win of the year. He allowed just one unearned run on six hits in that outing and walked two batters while striking out five. Gray has been great for the A's in his second season, going 10-3 with a 2.73 ERA and he has only allowed 7.6 hits per nine innings.

Orioles outfielder Adam Jones has three hits in five at-bats versus Gray with a home run and three RBI, while Manny Machado is 1-for-3 against him with a walk and two RBI.
