Ubaldo Jimenez will be looking to end his recent string of bad starts when the Baltimore Orioles take on Brad Peacock and the Houston Astros on Thursday night.

Right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez lost for the sixth time this season when he was defeated by the Cleveland Indians at home last week. In that game, he allowed five runs on four hits while walking a season-high five batters and striking out three. He now has a 2-6 record for his new team and he has walked 4.5 batters per nine innings.

No one on the Astros has hit a home run off of Jimenez, but first baseman Marc Krauss is 2-for-3 against him in his career with a double. Jose Altuve has two hits in eight at-bats against him with a triple, a walk and an RBI.

In his tenth start of the year, Brad Peacock was able to finally get his first victory when he beat the Chicago White Sox at home last week. He pitched 6.2 innings in that start and allowed just two runs on five hits while walking four and striking out five. His ERA is still pretty high at 5.20, but he has struck out 44 hitters in 45 innings.

Outfielder David Lough has one hit in two at-bats against Peacock in his career. None of the other Orioles have faced the right-hander yet.
