Big right-hander Chris Tillman (9-5) will be hoping that he can extend his undefeated streak to seven games when he and the Baltimore Orioles face Jose Quintana (6-9) and the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.

Chris Tillman pitched well enough to beat the New York Yankees last week, but all he got out of the start was a no decision. He pitched seven innings in that game and allowed two runs on five base hits while walking no one and striking out three. He has given up just 145 hits in 156.2 innings and now has a 3.68 ERA.

White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez has four hits in six at-bats against Tillman in his career with a home run and two RBI. Veteran Paul Konerko is 1-for-5 against him with three walks and a double.

Lefty Jose Quintana lost his second game in a row last Wednesday when he was defeated by the San Francisco Giants on the road. He went 6.2 innings in that start and allowed four runs on four hits while walking two and striking out seven. He now has a 3.14 ERA this season and he has struck out 136 batters in 154.2 innings of work.

Orioles All-Star outfielder Adam Jones has five hits in nine at-bats against Quintana with a double, two home runs and three RBI. Chris Davis is hitless against Quintana in eight at-bats with a walk and four strikeouts.
