Right-hander Aaron Harang (11-12) will attempt to snap his two-game losing skid when the Atlanta Braves face A.J. Burnett (8-17) and the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday night.

In his last start, Aaron Harang gave up just one run in seven innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he still ended up taking the loss. He only allowed four base hits in that outing and he walked two batters while striking out seven. Harang has only given up 14 home runs in 197.2 innings this year and he now has a 3.60 ERA.

Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard has nine hits in 29 at-bats against Harang in his career with two doubles, three home runs and eight RBI. Veteran outfielder Marlon Byrd is 10-for-23 against him with three home runs and six RBI.

A.J. Burnett finished with a no decision last Sunday against the Oakland Athletics after giving up six earned runs in 4.1 innings of work. He allowed three hits in that start and walked six batters while striking out three. The right-hander now has a 4.57 ERA on the year and he has been able to strike out 183 batters in 207 innings.

Braves right fielder Jason Heyward has six hits in his 14 at-bats against Burnett with two home runs and four RBI. B.J. Upton is just 11-for-52 against him with seven walks and 17 strikeouts.
