On Wednesday, Julio Teheran (12-9) will be going for his third win in a row when he and the Atlanta Braves take on Zack Wheeler (9-8) and the New York Mets.

Julio Teheran pitched six scoreless innings against the Cincinnati Reds on the road last Thursday on his way to picking up his 12th win of the season. He gave up just four hits in that outing while striking out three batters and walking no one. Teheran lowered his ERA to 2.96 with that win and he has only given up 156 hits in 182.2 innings this season.

Mets first baseman Lucas Duda has four hits in his 11 at-bats against Teheran with a double and a solo home run. Ruben Tejada is just 1-for-12 against the right-hander with no walks and two strikeouts.

24-year-old Zack Wheeler won his second game in a row last week when he defeated the Oakland Athletics on the road. He pitched 5.2 innings in that game and allowed just two earned runs on four hits while walking three batters and striking out three. Wheeler has struck out 148 batters in 152.2 innings this season and he currently has a 3.48 ERA.

Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has six hits in 11 at-bats against Wheeler in his career with a double, a home run and five RBI. Chris Johnson is 2-for-17 against him with a walk and three strikeouts.
