Atlanta Braves starter Aaron Harang will be going for his fourth straight win on Thursday night when he faces fellow veteran Bartolo Colon and the New York Mets.

Aaron Harang pitched a season-high eight innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks last Saturday and came away with his eighth win of the year. He gave up four runs (three eared) on nine hits in that outing and walked one batter while striking out one. Harang now has a 3.67 ERA on the season and he has only given up eight home runs in 110.1 innings of work.

Mets outfielder Chris Young has seven hits in 27 at-bats against Harang in his career with three home runs and five RBI. First baseman Lucas Duda is just 2-for-14 against him with four walks and four strikeouts.

Right-hander Bartolo Colon lost his second game in a row and his seventh loss overall last weekend when he was defeated by the Texas Rangers. He pitched seven innings in that start and gave up five earned runs on eight hits while striking out five hitters and walking two. Colon has an 8-7 record on the year with a 4.04 ERA.

Braves outfielder B.J. Upton has nine hits in 29 at-bats versus Colon with a double, a triple, a home run and five RBI. Veteran catcher Gerald Laird is hitless against Colon in seven at-bats and he's been struck out by the right-hander twice.
