On Saturday afternoon, Ervin Santana will be looking to pick up his first win since May 10 when he and the Atlanta Braves face Jacob Turner and the Miami Marlins.

Right-hander Ervin Santana ended up with a no decision on Monday when he pitched six innings against the Boston Red Sox and tied his season-high by giving up six runs. He allowed five hits in that outing and struck out six while walking three batters. He now has a 4.06 ERA on the season and has struck out 54 batters in 57.2 innings.

Braves catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia has three hits in 12 at-bats against Santana, with one of those hits being a home run. Jeff Baker is just 1-for-6 against him.

In his sixth start of the season, Jacob Turner was finally able to get his first win when he defeated the Milwaukee Brewers last weekend. He pitched 6.1 scoreless innings in that outing and allowed eight hits while striking out two and walking one. His ERA went down more than a full run to 5.35 with that solid start, but he has still given up 44 hits in 33.1 innings on the year.

First baseman Freddie Freeman has three hits in nine at-bats against Turner in his career with a double, two walks and one RBI. Chris Johnson has a .333 batting average against him with a home run and four RBI.
