On Saturday, Ervin Santana (13-6) will attempt to win his fourth game in a row for the Atlanta Braves when they take on Mike Leake (9-11) and the Cincinnati Reds.

On Monday, Ervin Santana pitched five decent innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road and was able to pick up the win. He went 5.1 innings in that game and allowed three runs on nine base hits while walking two batters and striking out four. He has struck out 141 batters in 155.1 innings this season and he now has a 3.71 ERA after that win.

Reds veteran Jack Hannahan has just three hits in his 19 at-bats against Santana with a double, three walks and six strikeouts. Catcher Brayan Pena is 0-for-5 against him with two walks and a strikeout.

Mike Leake went seven innings against the St. Louis Cardinals in his last start and ended up with a no decision for his efforts. He allowed four runs on eight hits in that game and struck out five batters while walking one. He now has a 3.65 ERA on the season and he has only walked two batters per nine innings.

Braves third baseman Chris Johnson has five hits in 17 at-bats against Leake with a double, two home runs and three RBI. First baseman Freddie Freeman is just 1-for-11 against him with a walk and two strikeouts.
