On Saturday night, Josh Collmenter will be on the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks when they face veteran righty Dan Haren and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Right-hander Josh Collmenter lost for the third time on Monday when he was defeated by the Houston Astros at home. He allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits in seven innings of work in that game while walking one and striking out five. He now has a 4-3 record with a 3.65 ERA, but he has only struck out 45 hitters in 74 innings on the year.

Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez is just 2-for-8 against Collmenter in his career, but both of those hits were home runs. All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez is 4-for-7 against him with a double, a home run and two RBI.

Dan Haren could only go 5.1 innings against the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, but he did well enough to pick up his sixth win of the season. He allowed two runs on five hits in that outing and struck out two while walking two. On the season, Haren is 6-4 with a 3.49 ERA and a 1.250 WHIP.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill has nine hits in 28 at-bats against Haren with two doubles, two triples, a home run and six RBI. Gerardo Parra has just three hits in 17 at-bats against the right-hander in his career.
