Bronson Arroyo will be getting the start for the Arizona Diamondbacks when they go up against Josh Beckett and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon.

On Tuesday, right-hander Bronson Arroyo was able to defeat the Houston Astros to pick up his sixth win of the season. He went seven strong innings in that game and allowed just one run on six hits while walking two and striking out five. On the season, Arroyo is 6-4 with a 4.22 ERA and he has only been able to strike out 46 batters in 81 innings.

Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has just five hits in 32 at-bats against Arroyo in his career with a homer and three strikeouts. Outfielder Matt Kemp has 11 hits in 26 at-bats against him with two homers and three RBI.

Josh Beckett beat the Cincinnati Reds last Tuesday on the road by going six scoreless innings against them. It was his fourth win of the year and he only gave up two hits in the game while striking out seven and walking one. Beckett has been great for the Dodgers this season by giving up just 53 hits in 72.2 innings and he now has a 2.35 ERA.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill has 15 hits in 40 at-bats against Beckett in his career with seven doubles, a home run and eight RBI. Martin Prado has yet to get a hit off of the veteran right-hander in 10 at-bats.
