Left-hander Wade Miley (8-11), who has a 2.81 ERA in three starts this month, will be on the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks when they face rookie right-hander Christian Bergman (2-4) and the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon.

Wade Miley had a very good outing against the San Francisco Giants last Monday and picked up his eighth win of the year. He gave up just one run in seven innings that day while striking out four batters and walking no one. Miley now has a 4.17 ERA on the season and he has struck out 173 batters in 192 innings on the mound.

Rockies catcher Wilin Rosario has nine hits in 19 at-bats against Miley with three doubles, two home runs and four RBI. Outfielder Charlie Blackmon is 3-for-13 against him with no walks and two strikeouts.

In his eighth start of the year last week, Christian Bergman lost his second game in a row when he was defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers at home. He went five innings in that start and gave up six runs on nine base hits while striking out seven batters and walking one. Bergman has a high 5.56 ERA and he has given up 58 hits in 43.2 innings this season.

Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta has a hit in three at-bats against Bergman with a triple and no strikeouts. None of the Diamondbacks' hitters have faced Bergman more than three times.
