On Thursday night, Vidal Nuno (0-6) will attempt to snap his three-game losing skid when he and the Arizona Diamondbacks face off against Yohan Flande (0-5) and the Colorado Rockies.

Last Friday against the San Diego Padres, Vidal Nuno gave up six earned runs in five innings of work and took the loss. He allowed eight base hits in that start and walked one batter while striking out two. The lefty now has a 4.58 ERA after that loss and he has given up 24 home runs this season in 151.1 innings on the mound.

Rockies first baseman Matt McBride is 1-for-3 against Nuno and is the only player on Colorado who has hit a home run off of him. Outfielder Drew Stubbs is 1-for-5 against him with a walk and two strikeouts.

Rookie Yohan Flande last made a start back on August 17 when he gave up four runs in 5.1 innings to the Cincinnati Reds and took the no decision. Since then, he has made five appearances out of the bullpen for the Rockies. Flande has a high 5.04 ERA on the season and he has given up 8.8 hits per nine innings.

The Diamondbacks will be going up against Flande for the first time on Thursday night. So far this season, right-handed batters are hitting .313 against Flande, while left-handed batters have a .167 batting average against him.
