That's right: it's Triple Crown Season.

The Kentucky Derby is right around the corner and Doc's Sports Services is your hook up for Triple Crown picks. Both Doc's Sports and Robert Ferringo will be releasing full selections on all three Triple Crown races. The Kentucky Derby is the first of those three illustrious races, followed by the carnal Preakness and then the Belmont hangover. For each race we will be releasing picks based on a mock $100 bankroll. It's jolly good fun and we were able to nail winners in two of the three races last year.

Each capper's Kentucky Derby picks cost just $19. As I mentioned, those Derby predictions include all straight bets as well as some exotic plays on the races, such as high-odds exactas, trifectas, and superfectas. Don't know squat about betting on horse racing? Well, then consider it a $20 lesson that could lead you a sweet little profit. You will get analysis, full explanations of how to place your bet, and hopefully some Kentucky Derby winners.

The Kentucky Derby will take place at approximately 5:50 p.m. on May 3 at venerable Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The field is not yet set, but keep your eye out for updates and analysis on all aspects of the race - from Kentucky Derby history lessons, to Kentucky Derby party suggestions, to Kentucky Derby contenders - we are your all-access spot for Triple Crown action.

The 133rd Preakness Stakes will run at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 from Pimlico, Md. Finally, The Belmont Stakes will be held on Saturday, June 7 in Elmont, NY. The time for that event has not been determined.
