NFL Survivor Pool Picks Week 15: Advice and Predictions
You have found the right place for all your survivor pool needs. There are just four weeks left in the season. And with the right strategy and a little bit of luck, you can achieve the ultimate NFL achievement. Last week, our top four picks all won outright, with the official selection of the Bengals over the Cowboys getting the job done. The biggest upset of the week was the Rams (+4.5) beating the Bills, but most of the other big favorites got the job done. Here are your Week 15 survivor pool picks ranked from most to least confident.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Baltimore Ravens (-16.5) Over New York Giants
If you want a layup, this is the way to go. If you haven’t used the Ravens yet, this is absolutely the best pick of the week. Baltimore is better than New York in almost every position on the field, and still has plenty to play for at this stage of the season. No need to overthink this one, as a free win is not something to pass up in the final month of the year.
Washington Commanders (-7.5) Over New Orleans Saints
The Saints have lost Derek Carr for the season, but it frankly doesn’t make much of a difference against the mighty Commanders. Washington has shaken off their 3-game losing streak and cannot afford to drop this game in their quest for the postseason. Jayden Daniels is playing great football, and the Commanders already have four 20+ point wins this season. It still feels weird to say it, but the Commanders are about as safe as they come at this stage of the season.
Minnesota Vikings (-7) Over Chicago Bears
This will be the official play of the week. We have been saving the Vikings for a tight week like this, and they will have few problems beating up on Chicago this week. The Bears have dropped 7 straight games and are already looking ahead to next season. Minnesota’s smothering defense will tip the scales in their favor. Minnesota has a difficult schedule in the final four weeks, so do not hesitate to use them if you haven’t already.
Atlanta Falcons (-4) Over Las Vegas Raiders
If there was ever a time for the Falcons to turn their season around, it is right now. Kirk Cousins has been dreadful with 8 interceptions and no touchdowns in his last 4 starts. However, the Raiders will be looking to improve their draft position next season with a loss to the Falcons. Atlanta is still in the middle of the NFC South division race and can get right back on track with this win. It’s hard to put your life on the line with a struggling Falcons team, but I have no doubt they will turn things around here.
Kansas City Chiefs (-4) Over Cleveland Browns
The Chiefs keep finding ways to win close games, and it’s hard to imagine them losing to the lowly Browns this week. The Chiefs defense has been the real difference maker this season, and Patrick Mahomes has still been playing great football. Jameis Winston turns the ball over too often to be trusted which will allow Kansas City to cruise to another tight win.
Arizona Cardinals (-6) Over New England Patriots
Motivation plays a major factor at this stage of the season, and a little extra effort from the Cardinals will allow them to walk away with the win. New England has nothing but pride to play for, while the Cardinals are still in the middle of the playoff race. Kyler Murray will look to stay poised in the pocket en route to a drab, but effective victory over the Patriots.
Green Bay Packers (-2.5) Over Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have strung a few wins together, but they will be in for a harsh reality check against the Packers on Sunday night. Green Bay has a ball-hawking defense that can take advantage of any ducks Geno Smith throws into the air. Jordan Love has been consistent in the pocket, and the Packers have a tough schedule down the stretch.
Cincinnati Bengals (-5) Over Tennessee Titans
The Titans have beaten great teams this year but have also dropped very winnable games against the league’s bottom feeders. The Bengals are looking to make a very late playoff push, and we can’t overlook them here. Cincinnati has one of the best offenses in the league, and Will Levis will be unable to keep up.
Miami Dolphins (+3) Over Houston Texans
While the Dolphins are a great contrarian pick this week, they still have a pair of very winnable games against the Jets and Browns left this season. I fully believe they will beat the Texans in Week 15, but there are better options with tougher remaining schedules to choose from.
Carolina Panthers (-2.5) Over Dallas Cowboys
Who would’ve thought we would be recommending the Panthers in a survivor pool, but here we are. The Cowboys offense has been anemic, and it’s hard to overlook the dramatic turnaround in Carolina over the last month. Bryce Young is looking like a first overall pick once again, while there is no such hope for the Cowboys. Draft position will be a factor, but the Panthers have shown the ability to win meaningless games before, and they will do so at home against the Cowboys.
Denver Broncos (-3.5) Over Indianapolis Colts
There isn’t much buzz around Denver even though they are 8-5 this season. A strong defense combined with rapidly improving quarterback play from Bo Nix has been their recipe for success. The Colts have seen signs of life from Anthony Richardson, but still nothing close to the consistent play from the early stages of last season. The Broncos have a tough schedule remaining and are a great pick for this week.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Chargers have the strong defense needed to slow down Tampa Bay. They have given up 20 or fewer points in 11/13 games this season, and the Bucs injuries at receiver will be a key factor. Justin Herbert has looked great for the Chargers and will guide Los Angeles to a crucial victory.
Philadelphia Eagles (-5) Over Pittsburgh Steelers
The Eagles get the nod here, but not by much. Pittsburgh has been a survivor pool killer for the last decade, and this is exactly the kind of matchup they have won in the past. However, the Eagles will be able to match the Steelers physicality, and with the division all but locked up this could be the last legitimate chance to use them. It won’t be a popular pick this week, but the Eagles are five-point favorites for a reason.
San Francisco 49ers (-3) Over Los Angeles Rams
The 49ers need to win to keep their season alive. This will be the toughest test of Brock Purdy’s young career as the Rams will be equally desperate to pick up the win. It’s hard to trust the 49ers with your survivor pool life without a healthy running back. The Rams might make this closer than expected, but the 49ers will find a way to win on the back of a big game from Deebo Samuel.
Detroit Lions (-2.5) Over Buffalo Bills
If you have saved either of these teams until week 15, you are surely not using them on this matchup. The Lions have the Bears next week, and the Bills still have two games against the Patriots and one against the Jets. Just stay away.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+3.5) Over New York Jets
Both of these teams are not worth your survivor pool life at this stage of the season. The Jags cannot be trusted, and the Jets are a whole other level of dreadful. Just stay away again.
