NFL Survivor Pool Picks Week 14: Advice and Predictions
The clock is ticking as just five weeks remain in your 2024 NFL survivor pool. Surviving this far has been no easy task, and the final few weeks can be the most difficult to navigate. Last week, our top eight selections all won outright, including our official pick of the Seattle Seahawks. All the favorites with a line of 3.5+ points won outright, as it was a relatively straightforward week in NFL survivor pools. Our risky selection of the Seahawks paid off, and we still have several of the top dogs remaining for the home stretch. Without further ado, here are your Week 14 survivor pool picks ranked from most to least confident.

Philadelphia Eagles (-12.5) Over Carolina Panthers
It’s hard to be much more confident than the Eagles this week. Philadelphia has won 8 straight games and is now at home against one of the weakest teams in the league. The 12.5 point spread is a daunting number to cover, but all we care about is the outright victory. The Eagles may start to lose motivation to win in the final weeks as the division will already be locked up. If you haven’t used Philly yet, now is a great time to do so.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6.5) Over Las Vegas Raiders
The Buccaneers had a scare in overtime against the Panthers, but they ultimately pulled out the win last week. Baker Mayfield and Co. are simply so much better than the Vegas offense it is hard to see this one staying close. However, Tampa Bay still has home games against the Panthers and Saints so we will look elsewhere in hopes of pulling the trigger with the Bucs down the line.
Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5) Over Dallas Cowboys
Our official pick of the week will be the Bengals on the road. This may feel like a risky pick, but there is no way Cooper Rush and the Cowboys will light up the scoreboard. Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense have been lights out, and they will get a big win against Dallas on Monday Night. They don’t have too many slam dunk games left on their schedule, and this is a great time to use up the 2022 Super Bowl finalists.
Miami Dolphins (-6) Over New York Jets
The Jets have thrown away another season while their AFC East rivals are still looking to claw their way back to the postseason. Tua Tagovailoa has been playing good football since his return from injury, while Aaron Rodgers has struggled all year long. Miami has been great at home over the last few years, and nothing will be changing here. The Dolphins are a fantastic survivor pool pick this week.
Buffalo Bills (-4.5) Over LA Rams
Does anyone want to step in front of Josh Allen and the Bills? Buffalo is battling for the top seed in the AFC, and this is a crucial game on their schedule. Los Angeles is in a tight NFC West divisional race, but their inconsistency on defense will hurt them here. Allen can turn negative plays into big gains in a flash, and will use some of that magic to pick up the win. Buffalo still has a couple of winnable games left down the stretch, so it may be wiser to save them with several confident choices this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5) Over Cleveland Browns
The Steelers lost to the Browns a few weeks ago, but lightning will not strike twice at Acrisure Stadium. Russell Wilson is the perfect man to compliment the Steelers defense who will be happy to feast on Winston’s turnovers. The Steelers have a tough schedule down the stretch, and it’s hard to see them losing two straight to the lowly Browns. As a result, they are a great choice for this week in what could be the last chance to pull the trigger.
San Francisco 49ers (-4) Over Chicago Bears
The Bears will get a lift from their new head coach, but it won’t be enough to push them over the line against San Francisco. The 49ers are still in contention for the postseason, and have several players capable of making an impact. The Bears defense has stumbled recently, while the 49ers have held strong. This team is quickly falling apart, so this could be the last good chance to use up the 49ers.
Tennessee Titans (-3.5) Over Jacksonville Jaguars
The Titans dug themselves a 28-0 hole against the Commanders last week but played decent football after a disastrous first quarter. The Jaguars are dealing with the loss of Trevor Lawrence to injury, and have absolutely no motivation to win this one. The energy surrounding the Titans is far more optimistic compared to the Jaguars, and that will allow them to pick up a win at home. There are better options out there, but if you’re in a pinch the Titans are still a good choice.
Seattle Seahawks (+2.5) Over Arizona Cardinals
The Seahawks clamped down on the Cardinals just two weeks ago, and have the chance to do so again this week. This is a critical game on top of the NFC West, and the explosive offense from the Seahawks will be the difference maker. Geno Smith has been able to limit the turnovers recently, and Seattle has picked up wins as a result. Seattle has a difficult schedule in the final few weeks, and looks poised to do the double over Arizona.
Kansas City Chiefs (-4) Over LA Chargers
The Chiefs are always a good choice in survivor pools, but they are relatively low on the list this week. The Chargers have a strong defense capable of slowing down Patrick Mahomes, and have a great quarterback in Justin Herbert going the other way. However, the Chargers have looked off recently, and it’s hard to see them upsetting the two-time defending champions at home. Kansas City is a good choice, but if you have held them this long there is no reason to use them in a close week like this.
New York Giants (+5) Over New Orleans Saints
The Giants will have the same starting quarterback for a second consecutive week. That isn’t a sentence they have said in over a month, and they will find consistency as a result. Drew Lock and Malik Nabers have already formed a solid connection on offense. New Orleans just lost Swiss army knife Taysom Hill to injury and will be effectively eliminated from the postseason with this defeat.
Minnesota Vikings (-5.5) Over Atlanta Falcons
This one is very low on the list, as Kirk Cousins is usually able to pull off some heroics when his team needs it most. The Vikings are good, but they have been fortunate to walk away with wins in recent weeks. While I can’t completely fade the strong Minnesota defense, I will recommend other choices rather than this one with serious upset potential.
Detroit Lions (-3.5) Over Green Bay Packers
These are two of the top teams in the league, which is always a recipe for disaster in survivor pools. Do yourself a favor and just stay away from this one.
