NFL Office Pool Picks Week 6 - ATS Predictions for Every Game!
The NFL office pool picks separate the casual NFL fans from the truly elite NFL bettors. Staying at the top of your office pool standings over the course of a season is no easy task, but Doc’s Sports will be providing office pool picks for every single game this season.
In Week 5, we went slightly negative with a 6-8 record. There were lots of close calls, with 6 of our 8 losses coming by 5 or fewer points. It’s now time to move on to Week 6, as we look to get back in the green this week.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Seattle Seahawks (+3) Over San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are an absolute mess right now, and do not deserve to be road favorites against their division rivals. Three points is a critical number in the NFL, and it’s hard to see San Francisco win this one by a touchdown or more. Seattle has a strong offense that is finally getting healthy again, and they will be able to pull off the outright upset against the 49ers. The spread is nice insurance, but the Seahawks won't need it. Seahawks 28, 49ers 25
Jacksonville Jaguars (+2) Over Chicago Bears
This one is technically being played at a neutral ground in London, England, but the clear advantage goes to the Jaguars. Jacksonville has played numerous games across the pond over the last decade and will be fully comfortable in London. They will be playing with a level of desperation the Bears simply don’t have. Jaguars 20, Bears 17
Arizona Cardinals (+5) Over Green Bay Packers
The Packers deserve to be home favorites against the Cardinals, but this spread is giving them a little too much credit. Arizona just pulled off an outright upset over the 49ers as 7.5 point underdogs and will be able to keep it close against Green Bay. The Packers run game allows them to pick up victories, but it doesn’t usually result in them running up the score. Packers 23, Cardinals 21
Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5) Over Cleveland Browns
This is an ugly one, but with a single-digit spread the Browns cannot be touched. Deshaun Watson is playing the worst football in the league, and even a strong Cleveland defense cannot bail them out every week. The Eagles will shake off their slow start after taking a week off and will pick up a convincing victory at home. Eagles 29, Browns 9
New England Patriots (+7) Over Houston Texans
The Patriots defense is strong enough to keep them close in this one. New England’s offense needs work, but they still don’t deserve to be a touchdown underdog at home. Houston needed Buffalo to shoot themselves in the foot to get a win at home last week, and they will be unable to blow out New England in Week 6. It’s still a winnable game, but the spread will not be covered. Texans 17, Patriots 12
Indianapolis Colts (-1) Over Tennessee Titans
These divisional games can always be tricky to predict, but the Titans offense has me looking at their opponents this week. Tennessee got a win against the Dolphins before their bye, and they might come into this one a little complacent. The Colts have a strong pair of quarterbacks, both of whom can beat the lowly Titans. Colts 31, Titans 24
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) Over New Orleans Saints
After a promising start for the Saints, Dereck Carr’s ugly habits are flaring up once again. Carr's turnovers will continue to cost the Saints football games, and their defense hasn’t been able to get the stops they did earlier in the season. Tampa Bay has legitimate Super Bowl aspirations, and they will continue to pile misery onto New Orleans. Buccaneers 26, Saints 21
Washington Commanders (+6.5) Over Baltimore Ravens
This will be the game of the week. Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson square off for the first time in what will be an action-packed affair. Washington has won four straight games, with their two most recent victories coming by 20+ points. However, the Ravens are on a streak of their own after an 0-2 start. Washington certainly has a chance to pull off the upset, but even if they don’t their offense will allow them to cover the spread. Ravens 31, Commanders 28
Denver Broncos (+3) Over LA Chargers
It’s shocking to see the Broncos as underdogs in this one, let alone by the key number of exactly three points. Denver has rattled off three straight games, while the Chargers can only dream about that level of consistency. The Broncos defense will slam the door on Justin Herbert on Sunday, and this is one of the most confident picks of the week. Broncos 20, Chargers 13
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) Over Las Vegas Raiders
The Steelers defense was unable to pull out the victory against the Cowboys last week, but it’s not time to write them off just yet. Head coach Mike Tomlin lives for the expected defensive battle between these two teams, and I have no doubt he will come out on top. Las Vegas lacks the identity the Steelers have created and will be unable to put points on the board. Steelers 10, Raiders 3
Atlanta Falcons (-6) Over Carolina Panthers
The temporary spark Andy Dalton provided for the Panthers appears to be extinguished. Carolina’s offense is once again looking bleak, and they will be unable to keep pace with the Falcons. All five of the Falcons games have been one-score contests, but they will finally get a sweat-free victory when they take on the lowly Panthers. Falcons 30, Panthers 16
Dallas Cowboys (+3.5) Over Detroit Lions
The Cowboys pulled off a late comeback against the Steelers last week, and they are a great pick against the spread this week. Detroit is coming off their bye, and it feels like they are getting a little too much credit against Dallas. The Lions are on the road yet are still being favored by more than a field goal. This reeks of a one-score contest, and we will absolutely scoop up the free points with the home team. Lions 27, Cowboys 24
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) Over New York Giants
It’s hard to trust the Bengals to get stops, but there is no doubting Joe Burrow and their offensive unit. The Bengals have scored 33+ points in three consecutive games. And if they can do so against the Giants, this will be an easy cover. Cincinnati cannot afford to lose this game or they can kiss their faint playoff hopes goodbye. They will pile on the points in an attempt to build some momentum in the second half of the season. Bengals 37, Giants 20
New York Jets (+2.5) Over Buffalo Bills
The Jets released Robert Saleh after their 2-3 start, and that will provide an immediate lift for their game against the Bills. It remains to be seen if that decision will pay dividends in the long run, but the players will be desperate to make a good impression on the new coaching staff. The Bills keep finding creative new ways to throw games away, and a late Jets takeaway will seal a valuable New York victory. Jets 20, Bills 17
2024 Season record: 37-38-3
