NFL Office Pool Picks Week 4 - ATS Predictions for Every Game!
It is no easy task to finish at the top of your office pools standings, as it takes an entire season of consistency to claim the title. There are 272 regular season games in the NFL, and Doc’s Sports is the place to get your against the spread pick for every single matchup. Last week in the NFL, we went an even 8-8 on our spread picks. Favorites went 8-8 straight up and against the spread, as the underdogs continue to pull off upsets all season long. In fact, favorites with a spread of 5.5 points or longer are just 2-14 against the spread and 6-10 on the moneyline. It’s time to get into the week 4 office pool picks against the spread.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Dallas Cowboys (-4.5) Over New York Giants
The Cowboys have slipped under .500 to start the season, and there will be no mercy shown against the Giants on Thursday night. Dallas has beaten New York in 13 of their last 14 matchups, with their last 6 wins coming by 5+ points. Dak Prescott and co. get back on track with a huge victory in New York. Cowboys 32, Giants 13
Carolina Panthers (+4.5) Over Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati is in big trouble after starting the year 0-3. They are favorites on the road against the Panthers, but that is not based on their performance this year. The Bengals will probably get better as the season goes on, but the spread is far too speculative. Andy Dalton lit a fire under the Panthers offense, and this will be a close game right down to the wire. Bengals 21, Panthers 20
New York Jets (-7) Over Denver Broncos
The Jets have a strong defense that will hold the Broncos in single digits. Unless Aaron Rodgers falls asleep at the wheel, the Jets will put up 20+ points while leaning on their defense to secure the cover. Jets 24, Broncos 7
Jacksonville Jaguars (+6) Over Houston Texans
This is a pivotal AFC South matchup, as a Texans victory will make it an uphill battle for anyone to snatch the AFC South title from their grasp. Jacksonville has been terrible on both sides of the ball this season, but they will bounce back. They have yet to force a turnover, while their opponents have gone 5/6 on 4th down, with the Jaguars going 4/9. These trends will regress to the mean, allowing Jacksonville to get their first win of the season. Jaguars 24, Texans 22
Los Angeles Rams (+3) Over Chicago Bears
The Rams pulled off a huge upset against the 49ers last week and are ready to pull off the upset against the Bears in week 4. Caleb Williams cannot be trusted in the favorite role until he shows us he can handle the pressure in the fourth quarter. The Rams will not go away in this one. And with the Bears fragile confidence hanging by a thread, Chicago will come crashing down at home. Rams 28, Bears 20
Minnesota Vikings (+3) Over Green Bay Packers
These NFC rivals have both gotten off to hot starts this year, and it will be the Vikings that extend their undefeated start to the year. Green Bay is expected to get Jordan Love back in the lineup, but that doesn’t automatically elevate their offense over Minnesota. The Vikings pass-catchers have been making the plays they need to, and Sam Darnold has been able to accurately deliver the football. Vikings 21, Packers 17
New Orleans Saints (+1.5) Over Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans came crashing back to Earth after their defeat to the Eagles, but they can get right back to winning ways against the Falcons. New Orleans has the better offense, better defense, and is getting a little bit of extra insurance on the spread. Saints 28, Falcons 24
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2.5) Over Philadelphia Eagles
The Buccaneers steamrolled the Commanders and Lions in the opening weeks, only to be shocked by the Broncos 26-7 at home. The Eagles defense has some holes that Baker Mayfield will be able to expose, and the Buccaneers match up nicely against Philadelphia. The Eagles can run over teams that can’t match their physicality at the line, but that is not the case for Tampa Bay. Jalen Hurts struggles as the Buccaneers pick up a massive home win. Buccaneers 24, Eagles 13
Indianapolis Colts (+2) Over Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are one of five undefeated teams this season, allowing just 26 points across their three games. Their defense has been phenomenal, but a dynamic and hungry Anthony Richardson is the perfect man to pick them apart. Justin Fields is due for a blow-up game. And on the road against the Colts is a prime candidate for the Steelers to drop a winnable contest. Colts 17, Steelers 12
San Francisco 49ers (-10) Over New England Patriots
This is a bad time for New England to take a trip to San Francisco, as the 49ers are desperate for a victory. The slew of injuries for the 49ers will make this a tougher task, but they still have enough defensive quality to shut down the Patriots. The early season optimism surrounding New England has evaporated. 49ers 24, Patriots 10
Washington Commanders (+4) Over Arizona Cardinals
After years of misery, the Commanders finally have a franchise quarterback. Other than kneel downs, the Commanders have scored on 13 straight drives. They haven’t turned the ball over all season, and punter Tress Way has been on the sidelines since week 1. The Cardinals defense has already proven they are vulnerable, and the Commanders will be getting points on the board with most of their possessions. The Commanders defense leaves plenty to be desired, but they will get the stops when they need it most against Arizona. Commanders 34, Cardinals 28
Cleveland Browns (+1) Over Las Vegas Raiders
These two teams lost to the winless Panthers and Giants last week, and there is very little optimism heading into this game. A pair of strong defenses will see the punters get plenty of action, as this turns into a field position battle. Deshaun Watson is the better signal caller, and we give the slight edge to the Browns over Las Vegas. Browns 14, Raiders 10
Kansas City Chiefs (-8) Over Los Angeles Chargers
The Chiefs get the win and cover over the Falcons on Sunday night thanks to a strong showing from their defense. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been uninspiring this season, but the Chiefs defense will stifle the Chargers throughout the game. Kansas City will stay perfect on the season, as it is hard to see a competitive game unfolding with a hobbled or missing Justin Herbert. Chiefs 28, Chargers 14
Baltimore Ravens (-2) Over Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen is superhuman, but he will finally fall short against a confident Ravens team. Baltimore didn’t let an 0-2 start distract them from their Super Bowl ambitions, beating the Cowboys on the road in week 3. A home game against the Bills will go a long way in determining the end of season standings, and the Ravens cannot afford to drop this one. Ravens 26, Bills 23
Tennessee Titans (-1) Over Miami Dolphins
The Titans are winless on the year, but that will change in Miami on Monday. The Dolphins lost their starting quarterback to injury, only to see their backup go down the following week. It’s a shame to see the talented Miami offense go to waste without a quarterback. However, at even odds, the Dolphins are an easy fade against a Titans team with a strong defense. Titans 13, Dolphins 6
Detroit Lions (-4) Over Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are 3-0 to start the year, but this is by far their toughest test. All wins count the same, but the Seahawks beating the Patriots, Broncos, and Tagovailoa-less Dolphins is not enough to give them the edge in Detroit. The Lions have proven they can pull together a complete season and have gone 24-8 across their last 32 games. Lions 27, Seahawks 21
2024 Season record: 21-24-3
