NFL Office Pool Picks Week 10 - ATS Predictions for Every Game!
The NFL season has officially entered the second half, and time is running out to make a late run up your office pool standings. Unlike survivor pools or other popular NFL pools, the office pool is what truly separates the knowledgeable fans from the pretenders. One bad break or unlucky bounce will not make or break your record, as it takes an entire season of consistency to prevail. Last week, we went a solid 9-6 on our office pool picks. Without further ado, here are your Week 10 NFL picks against the spread.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Cincinnati Bengals (+6) Over Baltimore Ravens
This will be the most exhilarating NFL matchup of the week, and the Bengals will do their job in keeping this one a competitive affair. Both of these teams are desperate for victories, and the Bengals surging offense will allow them to get the cover. You can’t bank on the Bengals defense to slow down Baltimore, but Joe Burrow will be able to generate touchdown drives more often than not. Ravens 39, Bengals 35
Carolina Panthers (+6) Over New York Giants
There is no justification for the New York Giants to be 6 point favorites against any other NFL team. The Panthers have a miserable 4-22 record over the last season and a half, but they are still capable of playing a close game out with the Giants. Daniel Jones and Bryce Young won’t the quarterback battle of the decade, but we will trust Young to do just enough to pick up the victory. We have the points in the back pocket, but we won’t even need them. Panthers 20, Giants 17
Denver Broncos (+8) Over Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are a perfect 8-0 on the season, but only one win has been by more than 10 points. Kansas City has leaned on their defense to pick up tight victories, and they will do so again against the Broncos. It’s hard to see the Broncos getting blown out in back to back weeks. They’ll get the cover, but fall short on the moneyline. Chiefs 19, Broncos 14
Washington Commanders (-3) Over Pittsburgh Steelers
The Commanders and Steelers are two of the hottest teams in football, but they are for two very different reasons. Washington’s fluid offense will find a way to unlock the Steelers defense, just as they did against the Browns and Bears. Pittsburgh lacks the offense needed to keep things close on the road, and they don’t have much of a backdoor cover potential with Russell Wilson under center. Commanders 27, Steelers 16
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+5.5) Over San Francisco 49ers
Christian McCaffrey is expected to step on the field for the first time this season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the 49ers will cruise to victory. The Buccaneers defense has plenty to work on, but their offense is capable of keeping this one close. The 49ers haven’t been the dominant force they once were, and a banged up offense needs to show more before we can expect them to cover these kinds of spreads on the road. 49ers 27, Buccaneers 24
Atlanta Falcons (-3) Over New Orleans Saints
The Saints trading away Marshon Lattimore signals the end of an era in New Orleans. They will be looking to tank for the rest of the season, and this spread isn’t long enough to consider taking them. Atlanta has already gone a perfect 4-0 against divisional opponents, and will cover this short spread with almost any victory in New Orleans. Falcons 20, Saints 10
Buffalo Bills (-4) Over Indianapolis Colts
The Bills have all but locked up the AFC East, but they are still jostling for seeding in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Colts can choose between two equally bad quarterbacks with Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco. This Bills offense routinely hangs 30+ points on teams, and it’s just too hard to imagine a Colts offense keeping pace. Indianapolis has lost their identity, and things will only get worse with a double digit defeat in Week 10. Bills 35, Colts 21
Jacksonville Jaguars (+4) Over Minnesota Vikings
The Jaguars may be just 2-7 this season, but 5 of their 7 losses have been by 5 or fewer points. The Vikings don’t have the type of roster needed to blow teams out now that Sam Darnold has returned back to Earth. Jacksonville is better than their record suggests, and this is the perfect ‘buy low’ spot for them. Jaguars 25, Vikings 21
Chicago Bears (-6) Over New England Patriots
The Patriots lost to the lowly Tennessee Titans last week, and will be unable to cover the spread in Chicago. The Bears had their season derailed by a Jayden Daniels Hail Mary, but this is the perfect opportunity to salvage a playoff spot. Caleb Williams will bounce back nicely against a Patriots defense that has lost their identity. It’s surprising to see a dominant Bears defense favored by only a touchdown, and not only will they cover the spread, but they will do so with a shutout. Bears 17, Patriots 0
Tennessee Titans (+7.5) Over Los Angeles Chargers
This is probably the most controversial pick of the week as these two teams are headed in opposite directions. The Chargers look capable of finally making a playoff push with a strong defense, but this line smells really fishy. The total is only at 38 points, meaning it won’t take much for the Titans to get a cover here. There are lots of reasons to fade this pick, but something tells me the Titans pull out the cover by the finest of margins. Titans 13, Chargers 20
Arizona Cardinals (-1) Over New York Jets
The Jets may have been able to beat a shorthanded Texans side last week, but that doesn’t mean they will beat a red hot Cardinals team on the road. Arizona has rattled off three straight wins to equal the Jets season total. Kyler Murray is playing with poise in the pocket, and the Cardinals strong defense has transformed them into legitimate NFC threats. Cardinals 27, Jets 15
Dallas Cowboys (+7.5) Over Philadelphia Eagles
There isn’t an argument that the Cowboys get better without Dak Prescott, but I also don’t think they get much worse. The Cowboys have the pieces needed to compete, and all the pressure has been taken off their backs since their starting quarterback got hurt. The Eagles nearly blew a 22-0 first half lead last week, and have shown the same fragility that came back to bite them last year. Upset alert in this one. Cowboys 24, Eagles 23
Detroit Lions (-3.5) Over Houston Texans
The Texans may still be able to compete in the AFC playoff race, but they are nowhere near the level of the Lions. Detroit has been steamrolling whoever stands in front of them, and this spread isn’t long enough to consider fading them now. Lions 37, Texans 20
Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) Over Miami Dolphins
The Rams pulled out a gutsy win against the Seahawks last week and look poised to challenge for the NFC West title. Miami hasn’t gotten the offensive lift they expected since Tua Tagovailoa has returned, and the Rams will cruise to a relatively comfortable victory on Monday Night Football. Rams 30, Dolphins 17
2024 Season record: 66-68-3
