14 points— Detroit over Jacksonville: Detroit has the 2nd-best scoring offense (31.6 ppg) and 8th-best scoring defense (19.0 ppg). Jacksonville is 0-8 SU in their last eight games on the road.
13 points— San Francisco over Seattle: With all their injuries, it's easy to forget that San Francisco was in overtime in the Super Bowl last season. However, they're getting healthy again and are on a 2-game winning streak. Seattle is 0-6 SU/1-5 ATS in their last six games against the Niners.
12 points— Minnesota over Tennessee: The Vikings are 6-2 SU/ATS in the last eight meetings against the Titans. Minnesota also has the 2nd-best rush defense in the league, allowing 79 ypg. Tennessee is 31st in offensive passing yards (169 ypg) and 10th in rushing yards (126 ypg).
11 points— Green Bay over Chicago: There are rumblings about discord in the Bears locker room that have grown louder since their epic collapse against Washington. Green Bay is an impressive 10-0 SU/ATS in the last 10 meetings against their NFC North rival.
10 points— NY Jets over Indy: While the NY Jets are bad, the Indianapolis Colts are a 4-alarm fire, and with the announcement that QB Anthony Richardson will be the starter for the remainder of the season, they're on the verge of becoming a raging inferno. The Jets are 5-1 SU in its last six games against an AFC South opponent.
9 points— Philadelphia over Washington (TNF): This should be one of the week's most exciting games. Both teams have a strong ground-game: Washington rushes for 153 ypg (4th), and Philly runs for 176 (2nd). The Eagles, however, have the 5th-best rush defense at 100 ypg, while the Commanders have the 4th-worst running defense at 142 ypg. Philadelphia is 5-1 SU in its last six games against Washington.
8 points— Miami over Las Vegas: The Raiders are another team with massive internal issues. Las Vegas is 2-8 SU in their last 10 games against Miami. The Dolphins' QB, Tua Tagovailoa, has been impressive in his return from a third concussion in his NFL career, hitting 77.7% of his passes for 672 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 INT.
7 points— Cleveland over New Orleans: Jameis Winston, the Browns backup QB, has as many wins this season (1) in his two starts as injured starter Deshaun Watson had in seven starts. New Orleans is 1-8 SU in their last nine games against the Brownies.
6 points— Kansas City over Buffalo: All right, THIS may be the best game of the weekend. Chiefs' QB Patrick Mahomes is 11-3 SU as an underdog. Buffalo is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
5 points— New England over LA Rams: New England has the 2nd-worst scoring offense with 16.0 ppg, but should get a boost against the Rams scoring defense of 24.1 ppg (22nd). The Rams have not played well on the road recently, going 1-4 SU in their last 5 away games.
4 points— Dallas over Houston (MNF): Houston became the first team since 1970 to lose a game with a 16-point lead with 5 interceptions from the other team. Cowboys QB Cooper Rush looked horrible against the Eagles' defense, but that was his first start in over 2 seasons. The Cowboys shine on Monday Night, going 5-1 SU in their last six appearances on Monday Night Football.
3 points— Cincinnati over LA Chargers: While the Chargers have the league's best scoring defense at 13.1 ppg, the only decent offense they've faced is Kansas City, and they held them to 17 points. Now they face the Bengals, with the 6th-best scoring offense at 27.0 ppg. The Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last five away games against the Chargers.
2 points— Baltimore over Pittsburgh: O.K., THIS might be the best game of the week. The Ravens' top-ranked scoring offense (31.8 ppg) takes on the Steelers' 2nd-best scoring defense (16.2 ppg). I think Pittsburgh will have trouble scoring themselves, as their offense is only 18th in total yardage. Baltimore has the worst pass defense in the league, but Pittsburgh's pass attack is toothless, 26th in the league with 188 ypg.
1 point—Denver over Atlanta: After last week's soul-crushing victory over Kansas City, the Broncos return home against a Falcons squad that has struggled recently on the road. The Falcons have gone just 5-14 SU in their last 19 games outside the "Dirty Dirty." Denver is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games.
