The 2024 LPGA Tour season begins this week as the ladies tee up at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club for the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Thirty-five of the LPGA’s top talents will compete alongside nearly 50 celebrities representing a variety of industries. Four of the top 10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are set to compete as are 2023 major winners Allisen Corpuz, Lilia Vu, and Ruoning Yin look to duke it out for the $1.5 million purse. The 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions will be held in Orlando, Florida at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. The course plays at a par 72 and measures in at 6,608 yards. You must be a winner from the last two seasons to qualify for this weekend’s event and the Tom Fazio design provides an exceptional test for the players that qualified. The course rewards superb ball striking and to navigate Lake Nona’s 18 holes, a player will need to avoid 57 bunkers and play smart on the 11 holes where water comes into play.

Korda heads to Orlando looking to make the cut in 10 straight events and currently ranks No. 5 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Over her last 20 rounds of action, she has finished below par 18 times, had two bogey-free rounds, and finished 16 of the rounds with a better-than-average score. She heads into the new season with her game in great form. In her past five tournaments, Korda has two top-10 finishes and four top-20 finishes. She is favored for a reason and look for Korda to be in contention on Sunday for a shot at the title.
Lilia Vu +700
Just like Korda, Vu is attempting to make the cut for ten straight tournaments. Another superstar whose game heads into 2024 in the right direction, Vu is looking for her third consecutive top-five finish this week. The 26-year-old starts the season ranked No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and No. 1 in the CME Ranking. She has 15 career top-10 finishes and four career victories. Over her last 20 rounds of golf, she has posted better than par on 17 occasions, three bogey-free rounds, and 15 rounds with a better-than-average score. In her past five tournaments, she has one victory and three top-five finishes. Look for Vu to keep the momentum rolling and start 2024 on the right foot.
Brooke Henderson +1000
The 26-year-old looks to defend her title this weekend and has put together quite the career up to this point. She enters 2024 ranked 13th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and 15th in the CME Ranking. She has tallied 73 career top-10 finishes, 13 career victories, and has made over $12 million dollars in her stellar career. Another player that has been hot in her last 20 rounds, she has finished below par on 18 occasions, two bogey-free rounds, and finished 17 of the rounds with a better-than-average score. Henderson is also looking to make it into a top-20 finish or better for a fourth straight event. She possesses the qualities to repeat and defend her title this weekend in Orlando.
