2024 LIV Picks: Singapore Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
The seventh event of the 2024 LIV Golf League will take place this week on the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club. This will be the final test for LIV players before they tee it up at the second major of the year in May at the PGA Championship. In last year’s edition of the LIV Golf Tour Singapore, Talor Gooch stood victorious and prevailed after defeating Sergio Garcia in a playoff. Joaquin Niemann has been on everyone’s radar, winning in both Mexico and Saudi Arabia. He heads into this event as the favorite followed by Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau. Doc’s Sports will break down some of the best bets from Singapore below.

Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets
The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club will host this week’s event for the second time. It is a Par 71, that measures in at 7,406 yards and ranks in the top-100 of best courses in Asia. Serapong is nestled nicely on a luxury island with gorgeous views, while streams and lakes crisscross the course, ensuring water comes into play often. Holes three through seven are known as the Dragon’s Tail, a stretch of holes that features the signature par-4 fifth, situated in the belly of the dragon, while the par-4 sixth includes the dragon’s tooth along with a false front which is known as the dragon’s tongue. The course hosted the Singapore Open from 2005-2022, with Ian Poulter and Sergio Garcia standing victorious.
Tyrrell Hatton +1200
Hatton is still searching for his first LIV trophy since making the move over earlier this year, and Singapore could be the perfect for the Englishman. Hatton bolted into contention last weekend at Adelaide on the final day, tallying six birdies over the first 11 holes of the final round, but he would register one bogey and six pars over his final seven holes to finish T14 with Cam Smith. He ranked 6th last weekend in scrambling at 78.57% and T6 in putting average at 1.52 putts per hole. Hatton ranks 5th overall in scrambling for the season at 68.32%. He has registered individual points in every event so far this season, and looks primed to pick up his first-career LIV victory in Singapore.
Cameron Smith +1400
I have a feeling that Smith’s fourth-career LIV victory is coming sooner than later. He managed a T14 last week in his home event in Adelaide and there should be less pressure on him this week in Singapore. He finished T6 on the Serapong Course in last year’s event and looks poised to have a strong showing this week. He ranks first on the LIV Tour in putting average at 1.51 and inside the top-20 in total birdies. His scrambling and ability to navigate tough situations was on full display last week. He ranked as the second-best scrambler behind Louis Oosthuizen in Adelaide, and that should only give him confidence heading into Singapore.
Dean Burmester +1600
We are going to ride the momentum train for our final selection in Singapore and back Dean Burmester to pick up his second victory of the 2024 campaign. He has been one of the most consistent players on the LIV circuit all season. He finished inside the top-15 in five of six events, top-10 in four tournaments, stood victorious in Miami, and followed that up with a T3 in Adelaide last weekend. He ranks T3 in the field in GIR at 74.69% and 6th in scrambling at 68.29%. The South African is playing some of the best golf of his career and should be able to continue his trend this weekend in Singapore.
