2024 LIV Golf Picks: LIV Golf Tour Las Vegas Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
LIV Golf heads to Sin City this week to tee off at Las Vegas Country Club. We nailed our Niemann selection last weekend in Mayakoba, even though we had to sweat it out. He shot 12-under in Round 1 and ended up defeating Sergio Garcia in a fourth playoff hole with darkness approaching. Now we shift gears to Vegas, where LIV strategically planned this event to coincide with the Super Bowl. There should be a bigger crowd than normal to get increased exposure for a tour that now boasts many of the best golfers in the world. Just like last week, Jon Rahm is the overwhelming favorite to win this event. Doc’s Sports will break down this weekend's action below.

Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets
Las Vegas Country Club was designed by Edmund B. Ault in 1967 and has had multiple renovations in 1981 and in 2009. The course is located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It hosted the Las Vegas Invitational from 1983-1991, and the LPGA Takefuji Classic from 2003-2006. The course plays as par-70 and measures in at 7,089 yards. LVCC features many tree-lined fairways, heavy bunkering throughout, and a few water hazards. The two par-5s are easily reachable in two shots, and even the shortest hitters off the tee should have no problem getting there.
Brooks Koepka +1400
Just like Dustin Johnson (See Below), Koepka plays his best golf when the lights shine the brightest and they sure will shine in Vegas. Koepka finished T5 last week in Mayakoba and was top-5 in greens in regulation. He also led the field in fairways gained. Playing out of the fairways in Vegas will be key for a course that should see plenty of birdies. On a tight, tree-lined venue where accuracy is important, Kopeka’s precision could be the biggest factor in jumping ahead of the field on the leaderboard.
Dustin Johnson +1600
Johnson made a ton of birdies last weekend which resulted in a T5 finish in Mayakoba. He uncharacteristically hit only 38.1% of fairways and I look for that number to improve this week. DJ has excelled in easier scoring conditions in his two years on the LIV circuit and both of his victories have come in the United States. His odds have slowly dropped and this is a great time to buy low on one of the best golfers on the planet. Everyone knows Dustin loves to party, and the Vegas crowd should be enough motivation to play his best golf. Look for DJ to register his third LIV victory in three seasons.
Dean Burmester +1800
The South African provides solid value for a guy that just finished T3 with Jon Rahm at Mayakoba last weekend. His form has been one of the best in the last six months as he finished 2023 with back-to-back wins on the DP World Tour. There are very few players on the LIV circuit that are as sharp as Burmester right now. At 18-1, look for him to contend this weekend in Vegas.
