2023 LIV Golf Picks: Tulsa Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
Back in the United States, LIV will head to Tulsa, Oklahoma, this upcoming weekend. The Tour itself feels like it is gaining some speed after Singapore, and this week will feature a field of 48 players. Talor Gooch won back-to-back at LIV Golf Adelaide and LIV Golf Singapore. And given that he is an Oklahoma native who went to college at Oklahoma State, all eyes should be on him to try to win three events in a row. We will look below to see if Gooch can win in his state of residence or if someone like Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, or Cam Smith will steal the show.

Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets
This weekend's event will take place at Cedar Ridge Golf Club in Tulsa. This course has never been used at the professional level for the PGA, but it did host the 1983 U.S. Women’s Open. It has also been used for state championships and national qualifying tournaments, so those with Oklahoma roots should feel right at home (Gooch Alert). There is a decent amount of water in play, but overall, this course is not very long. Measuring at 7,200 yards and a par-70 course, the field should take advantage this week and put together some decent scores.
Talor Gooch +1000
Why not ride the hot hand at 10-1? I am going to take a shot at Gooch to secure his third straight victory this upcoming weekend in Tulsa. Hands down he has been playing the best golf of his professional career. He now leads the LIV field in average strokes per round and returns to his home state at a course that should benefit his style of play. In his last season on Tour, he finished 16th in greens in regulation percentage and 69th in driving accuracy.
Sergio Garcia +2000
Sergio has plenty of momentum heading into Oklahoma after finishing runner-up to Gooch in Singapore. Garcia has now posted two top-10 finishes over the past four events. In Singapore, he finished first among all golfers in GIR% at an outstanding 88.9%. One of the most consistent performers on the LIV circuit, Garcia ranks in the Top 10 in average strokes per round this year. Look for Garcia to keep the momentum rolling at a great 20-1 value.
Peter Uihlein +2000
Another Oklahoma State alum, Uihlein should relish the opportunity in front of friends and family. His 11th-place finish at LIV Golf Singapore was his worst finish of the season, which should spell out the kind of year he is having. Uihlein has made 85 birdies in 15 rounds, which leads the field. He is also second behind Gooch on 2023 LIV Golf Standings, despite not even winning an event. He also is tied for first on tour with five eagles. Simply put, he has become a scoring machine and should find success this weekend with his family in attendance.
Louis Oosthuizen +4000
I like Louis this weekend at 40-1 odds to have a chance to bring home the trophy on Sunday. Despite being one of the bigger names signed at the inception of LIV, he has not really played his best golf in a while. He posted four top-10 finishes in his first five events in 2022 but has only one since. Cedar Ridge rewards accuracy far more than distance, which is good news. In Singapore, he finished first in driving accuracy as he hit fairways at nearly 79%. If the hot driver carries into Tulsa, Oosthuizen could be in the mix on Sunday.
Golf Picks: Who to Consider This Week:
Players to win: Gooch +1000, Uihlein +2000, Garcia +2000
Top 10 play: Oosthuizen
