2024 LIV Picks: LIV Golf Tour Nashville Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
Chalk up a victory for the LIV Golf Tour, as Bryson DeChambeau won the U.S. Open in dramatic fashion last weekend at Pinehurst. After Rory Mcllroy missed a four-foot putt on the 18th hole to bogey, all DeChambeau had to do was par for the victory. After an erratic tee shot that left no options except chipping out, he found a bunker 55-yards away from the green. Bryson would deliver, perhaps the most clutch bunker shot in the history of golf, leaving his par putt inside four feet for the victory. Now, LIV Golf stays in the United States and will play in Nashville this upcoming weekend. DeChambeau is the favorite and will look to keep momentum on his side. He is followed by Joaquin Niemann and Jon Rahm as the next best odds to take home the title. Doc’s Sports will break down this week’s action below.

Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets
This week’s LIV event will be played at The Grove, which was designed by LIV CEO Greg Norman. It is a 7,297-yard layout and normally plays as a par 72, but one of the par 5s will play as a par four for this event, making it a par 71 track this week. The Grove incorporates the natural rolling hills, native grasses of Middle Tennessee, and meandering stream beds. It is widely known as one of the best golf courses in the Nashville area. Unfortunately, there is no specific data to go off, as this is LIV’s first trip to The Grove. The course has previously held Korn Ferry Tour events in the past. With plenty of man-made water hazards and the McCrory Creek winding through the middle of the course, there is no shortage of danger at The Grove. The fairways are generous. And for those golfers that participated at the U.S. Open last week, this could be a walk in the park compared to Pinehurst.
Jon Rahm +1000
I will gladly buy the dip in his odds at 10-1 after his toe injury that made him withdraw from the U.S. Open. If he says he is playing in Nashville, then I believe he is 100% this week. This week does not look like a birdie-fest, and hitting fairways and greens in regulation is key to winning. This should favor Rahm, as his biggest weakness this season has been the putter. Ball-striking should reign supreme this week, and that favors the Spaniard. The extra week off and no hangover from Pinehurst is also in his favor. His first LIV win is coming sooner rather than later, and Nashville could be where he gets the job done.
Abraham Ancer +1800
I am also targeting Ancer to claim his second LIV victory of the season this weekend. Prior to his T24 finish in Houston, Ancer had a victory and four top-10 finishes in his last four events. He showed fight and grit in Houston after opening with a 75 and battling back towards the middle of the leaderboard. He leads the LIV Tour in fairway percentage off the tee at nearly 68%, which will be crucial to success at The Grove. I will give him a go this week as there should also be fuel in the fire after not being invited to participate in any of the first three majors of 2024.
Sergio Garcia +2000
I like Garcia’s chances to contend and win his first LIV event of his career this week. His price at 20-1 is not bad for a player in his 40s, and he has been in fine form. The Spaniard nearly won the first LIV event of the season in Mayakoba but lost to Niemann in a playoff. He finished second in Miami, fifth in Houston two weeks ago, and posted a solid T12 at the U.S. Open last weekend at Pinehurst. If his putter can be halfway decent, I love his chances to contend in Nashville.
