2023 LPGA Picks: ISPS Handa World Invitational Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
This week features the ISPS Handa World Invitational, with the LPGA and the DP World Tour hosting a joint event, with two 144-player tournaments happening simultaneously. The two-course rotation is very scorable for LPGA and DP Tour players, with the field being trimmed down to 40 players each after the third round. Leona Maguire is the favorite this week, while Emily Pedersen is starting to come around to the player who dominated on the LET a few years ago. We will break down the field and some of the best bets for this upcoming event.

Course Characteristics of Those Who Can Win or Secure Winning Golf Bets
Galgorm Castle has been used as the main course at this event since its inception, hosting one of the first two rounds, and both weekend rounds. This year, Castlerock Golf Club will replace Massereene as the secondary venue. Galgorm Castle features only two par 5s, and both are featured on the back nine, which means there is a chance to score down the stretch. This is a parkland course, not exposed to the elements. Castlerock Golf Club is a classic links test and plays to a par 71. Greens in regulation and scrambling are key to both courses.
Leona Maguire +500
The 28-year-old is building a solid season in 2023 that includes five top-10 finishes. She is the odds-on favorite to win this week’s event and boasts two career LPGA victories, including the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give back in June where she shot 21 under par. Besides that victory, she has a T7 at the Mizuho Americas Open, third-place finish at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards, T6 at the Honda LPGA Thailand, and T9 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. She also ranks 14th in the Rolex Rankings heading into this week. Look for Maguire to be in the winner’s circle on Sunday.
Georgia Hall +600
Georgia Hall makes a return to Galgorm for the ISPS Handa World Invitational, where she finished in third place last season. The 27-year-old is only two spots behind Maguire in the Rolex Rankings and should give her a run for her money this weekend. She has cooled down a bit after a blistering start that saw a T10 at the Honda LPGA Thailand, 2nd at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mountain, 2nd at the DIO Implant LA Open, T6 at the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei, and a T10 at the Cognizant Founders Cup. I am looking for Hall to get back on track and be in contention, if not win the whole thing this weekend.
Stephanie Meadow +3500
Looking at value along with the 31-year-old playing close to home, take Northern Ireland’s Stephanie Meadow to contend this weekend. She has one top-10 finish this season where she finished T3 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship back in June. She also has a T13 at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give and a top-25 finish at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mountain. With family and friends in attendance this week, look for Meadow’s to pull off a victory at 35-1 odds.
