UCLA Bruins Posted Win Total - 6 games
Doc's projected wins - 7
Play on the OVER
Analysis: UCLA won six games last year under first-year coach Karl Dorrell and expect an improved performance this year with Dorrell acquiring more of his own recruits. UCLA has a favorable home schedule and should start off the season 4-1 before they get into the meat of their schedule. We expect them to build confidence with these early season wins and go onto a successful 7-4 bowl game season.
Oklahoma Sooners Posted Win Total - 9.5 games
Doc's projected wins - 10
Play on the OVER
Analysis:A favorable schedule for the Sooners will start them off 5-0 before they play in game in hostile territory. The schedule then offers some tough tests with Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas A & M all coming on the road. But Oklahoma has the luxury of losing one of those games and still cashing in on the ticket. We expect them to go 10-1 with the lone loss coming in Manhattan. The Sooners will return to the Big 12 Championship Game and they will cover this win total .
Virginia Cavaliers Posted Win Total - 8 games
Doc's projected wins - 7
Play on the UNDER
Analysis:The ACC conference may be the most competitive conference this season with the addition of Miami and Virginia Tech. Virginia is coming off a 7-5 (12 game schedule) in which they had the best Quarterback (Matt Schaub) in the Conference. Schaub has since left and moved onto the NFL leaving the Cavaliers with a major void to fill. A good start is likely, but once conference play comes, the Cavaliers will be lucky to win four games. Play the under and watch your pocketbook grow.
2004 Heisman Trophy Winner
Take Matt Leinhart 5/1. USC should run the table at 12-0 assuming they get past their first hurdle playing Virginia Tech in Maryland. The best player on the best team usually means "Heisman"
