Fighter: Jaidon 'The Don' Codrington - 8-0-0 (8 KO's)
Age: 21
Hometown: Queens, NY
Height: 6'1
Division: Light Heavyweight/Super Middleweight
A boxer fast becoming the division's worst nightmare, undefeated, knockout artist Jaidon Codrington is quickly becoming the toast of the largest town in American. Needless to say, with the way he's been dispatching opponents, he's quickly become a fan favorite in both New York and Connecticut.
A former two-time golden glove's national champion, Jaidon Codrington stares them down with a menacing glare from across the ring, not wondering if he'll win, but wondering by how much and how fast he'll win. Codrington is athletic and strong, with good knockout power in both hands. He uses his big frame very well to sit down on his punches, getting great leverage on his left uppercuts and hooks.
In his last fight, the 21-year-old Jaidon Codrington kept his record spotless with a spectacular, one punch, first-round knockout of veteran Etienne Whitaker. It ended as so many of Codrington's fights do, with his dazed opponent being rescued by the referee and his jubilant fans erupting into a raucous celebration.
Brash in all the right ways, and with the power to take you out or the jab to box from the outside, Jaidon Codrington has taken the New York area by storm in the last six months and he doesn't look to slowdown one bit.
Jaidon Codrington could have been a household name by now with the right amateur breaks but a controversial loss at the Everlast US Championships made the decision to go pro an easy one. The 21-year-old powerhouse has a pleasing, active style that will probably lead to an HBO date sometime in the next year.
