Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg Bio
Jeremy was raised a hockey fan but it wasn't long before he found boxing. He was born in Minnesota where they are generally void of talent, although that has changed recently with the success of Matt Vanda, Jason Litzau and Will Grigsby. Fasttalker always had an interest in any sport he could watch, but boxing took over on February 11, 1990 when a few friends and him watched a bout from a hotel television He was playing in a hockey tournament a few hours up in Northern Minnesota. The hotel had HBO and they were treated to Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson. Douglas came in as a 42-1 underdog and although he went down once, was generally in control all night. As soon as they got home he begged to get HBO and it wasn't long before he was able to watch fights on Saturdays.
Fasttalker became obsessed with boxing as he followed certain young fighters as they went from prospects to contenders all the way to pound for pound champions. As soon as he could afford it he started heading out to any fight he could see. He was an especially big fan of Fernando Vargas and Shane Mosley. He went to almost all their fights and watched as each matured and then ultimately was also beat.
Fasttalker connected with Doc's Sports thru a college friend and has since been able to put many hours of voracious fight watching and endless hours spent investigating all angles of boxing to a use. Boxing is not only the best sport and truest test of manhood in the world, it is also nearly impossible to predict. However by doing all the proper homework we have been able to take advantage of lines for 33 years and as one of the biggest fans and experts in the sport, Fasttalker plan to continue that tradition and hold himself to the highest standard possible, Doc himself. Fasttalker prides himself on winning week after week and it is even more complimentary when he is able to make money for others.
