El Feroz and Sugar Look to Restore their Reps
by Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg - 02/17/2006
When Golden Boy Promotions announced that fellow Californians Fernando Vargas (26-2, 22 KOs) and Shane Mosley (41-4, 35 KOs) were squaring off on Feb. 25, it didn't exactly catch the excitement of the general boxing public. Mosley looked lackluster in both of his losses to Winky Wright and he seemingly continued the downward spiral with two decision wins over fringe contenders.

Boxing Takes A Break, But Get Ready For Some Big Fights
by Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg - 08/01/2005
While boxing fans have been spoiled the past few months with endless TV fights, there was nothing worth watching this last week(unless you still think Thomas Hearns is credible). Betting On Boxing's Comeback
by Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg - 07/27/2005

Samuel Peter detonates Sykes in Second -- Doc's Weekly Boxing Report
by Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg - 07/05/2005
Hot heavyweight prospect Samuel Peter didn't take long to catch Brooklyn bigmouth Taurus Sykes on Saturday. Sykes only previous loss was a decision to prospect Owen Beck so being KO'd in the second round was a surprise to everybody. Samuel Peter looked his normal self early on, sloppy and plodding. However in round two he caught Sykes on the ropes and unloaded all over his head, front and back to put Sykes down for the count. Sykes promised a Brooklyn style beating but he put up no fight at all.
