Dave Schwab is a writer for Doc's Sports. After an extended career in sales and marketing, Dave started Blue Pointe Advisors in 2007 to provide general marketing services to small business. As time wore on, it evolved primarily into one that produces weekly content for a select group of sports information websites. As Dave puts it, "this simply means that I get to write about my one true passion in life; the world of sports and in particular wagering on them". While he is not a true handicapper by trade, over the past five years he has been able to hone his skills to provide timely insight into tips and effective strategies for wagering on all the major sports, particularly college football and the NFL.

Dave grew up just outside Philadelphia, which is renowned for having some of the most passionate and yes craziest fans in the world which only helped to fuel his love for sports. Along with his wife of 28 years, he currently resides on Virginia's Eastern Shore and enjoys a bit more laid-back life style that includes playing golf and tennis, cycling and fishing and crabbing in the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
