Chris Vasile is one of Doc’s Sports newest content writers. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Chris has been playing high-level hockey since he was just 6 years old. The peak of his career saw him play a couple of seasons in tier-2 junior hockey, and it is that experience he uses to understand a team’s motivation and psyche. He was also co-captain of his varsity football team and an All-Ontario Track & Field athlete. Vasile is no stranger to high-level competition and uses it as motivation to be the best he can be everything he does. Vasile is known to use a few different techniques when handicapping games but says his most valuable and usually most reliable source is beat writers for any given team. A Toronto sports fan through thick and thin, some of Chris’ best sports memories involve the Maple Leafs’ playoff runs in the late 90s to early 2000s as well as his national soccer team, Italy, winning the World Cup in 2006.
