The White Sox (Rodon) are -128 home favorites over Detroit (Norris) on Friday, per BetOnline Sportsbook.

A. Amir Johnson. The first-round series between the 76ers and Nets has produced a little bit of everything through two games: a cell phone on the bench, a 51-point quarter, etc. Philadelphia lost the opener at home while Johnson and Joel Embiid got caught looking at Johnson's cell phone, but it rebounded on Monday for a 145-123 victory after pouring in 51 points in the third.

by Ricky Dimon - 4/15/2019
There is no doubt that Tiger Woods is back after he secured his fifth Masters victory on Sunday. But is his aura back? Although that is more debatable, it sure looked like it during the final round as several other contenders folded like cheap tents in Tiger's presence. The 15-time major champion isn't-and never was-done. But are the Lightning done? Are the Thunder? Are the 76ers? Questions abound on the ice and the hardwood.

Case of the Mondays: Auburn's Run Ends in Controversial Fashion
by Ricky Dimon - 4/8/2019
There are only two teams left standing as Monday night approaches fast. One could have been Michigan State; one probably should have been Auburn. But the Spartans' anemic offensive performance was preceded by the Tigers' heartbreaking loss to Virginia. Meanwhile, the regular season is wrapping up in the NBA, and it's the best week of the year in golf-the Masters.

Duke: out. North Carolina: out. Gonzaga: out. Traditional powers such as Kentucky and Kanas: out. This weekend's Final Four is not going to set any ratings records-but if the Elite Eight is anything to go by, the remaining teams are capable of putting on an enthralling show. It's Virginia, Michigan State, Texas Tech, and Auburn.
Case of the Mondays: Down Goes Duke-and Two Other No. 1 Seeds
by Ricky Dimon - 4/1/2019
Only once in NCAA Tournament history (2008) have all four No. 1 seeds advanced to the Final Four. This year's quartet did not come particularly close. Whereas Virginia bowed out immediately to No. 16 seed UMBC in 2018, at least this time around all four-including Virginia-reached the Sweet 16. Now, however, only the Cavaliers are still standing in the Final Four following losses last week by Duke, Gonzaga, and North Carolina.
