If it feels like Week 15 started three weeks ago, don’t worry, you are not alone. We kicked off Week 15 with a great overtime game between the Chiefs and Chargers and were then thrown for a loop as COVID issues ran rampant throughout the league. We had three games be rescheduled from Saturday/Sunday to Monday/Tuesday, respectively, so in essence, we’ve had NFL football on our TV in five of the last six days. COVID issues aside, I am fully on board with this as I’m of the belief that the more football we can witness, the better. It’ll be interesting to see how rescheduled games affect teams in Week 16, as a few of them will be playing on extra short rest.

We are rolling right along in the National Football League season as it’s already Week 15. This week presents another big challenge in the handicapping world as the issue of COVID is rearing its ugly head once again, and many players have been placed on the COVID list and will likely miss their respective games. It’s imperative that you stay on top of the late-breaking news and handicap accordingly and adjust your numbers as you see fit. We’ve already seen the Browns go from -3-point favorites to +1-point underdogs against the Las Vegas Raiders due to COVID issues.

It was another woeful week in the NFL as there were two, maybe three games that kicked off and actually kept us captivated for the full 60 minutes. The Baltimore/Cleveland game was not as close as the final score suggests, and the San Francisco/Cincinnati game, despite going to OT, was a very dull affair. That leaves us with just the Buffalo/Tampa game that was truly a good game that was marred by poor and inconsistent officiating from start to finish.

Week 13 in the National Football League could be broken into two completely different slates, which would have appeased both favorite and underdog bettors. Thursday night’s contest went in favor of the favorite, as did five of the seven games on the 1 p.m. card. The 4 p.m. card saw underdogs win three of the four games outright, before the favorite (Chiefs) took care of business in the Sunday night game. There are a handful of underdogs I have interest in as we enter Week 14, so hopefully, we are on the right end of the spectrum come Sunday night.

We rode them to cover the point spread for two straight weeks and they did it. Then we got word of Aaron Rodgers and his positive COVID test, which will keep him out for at least this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
