It is now Week 15 in the NFL, and picking games against the spread seems about as difficult as ever. Last week was a huge week for underdogs. Two of those dogs helped us win our basic strategy teaser bet of the week. We had the Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills each at (+8.5) points. And as you might have seen, they both won outright. Hey, Travis Kelce's lateral that was called back wouldn't even have beaten us.

There are just 4 weeks to go in the NFL regular season, and a pair of very crowded Wild Card races have ensured there will be plenty of meaningful football on the horizon. Last week, we went 1-2 on our picks, but still have a very respectable 21-19-2 record ATS so far this season. The Colts went into halftime on level terms, but Jake Browning and the Bengals scored 20 unanswered second half points to take home the victory.

Both entries were sub .500 in Week 13, going 2-3, while Saints31-1 went 4-1 to move into third place in the CIrca Sports Million V contest. Sodaman-2 and Anfeleyes1073-1 shared the first prize of the Third Quarter by hitting 90% over the last five weeks at 18-2. Meanwhile, I went 1-4 last week. This brings my season-long record to 41-23-1 (63%) or 41.5 points and 80th place. Week 13 is now behind us, as there are just 5 weeks to go in the NFL season. Our picks went 1-2 last week, bringing our season record to 20-17-2. The Broncos were picked off in the endzone while driving for the last second victory, while the Eagles suffered their biggest loss of the season at the hands of San Francisco. The lone victory was for the Rams, who made it look easy against the DeShaun Watson-less Browns. The favorites went 10-3 straight up, and 8-5 ATS in a pivotal Week 13. This entry is a half-point ahead of Fezzic2, 42-15-3 (73.3%), who went 4-1 for 43.5 points on the season. Last week’s leader, Ottomatic-1, went 2-3 and fell to a three-way tie for fourth place. Matador-3 has sole possession of third place thanks to a 4-1 week, which brings their record to 41-16-3 (71.9%). I am in 19th place as I went 3-2 last week. This brings my season-long record to 40-19-1 (69.4%) or 40.5 points.

Week 12 is in the rearview mirror, as the NFL playoff picture begins to solidify in the closing weeks of the season. Last week, we went 1-1-1 on our picks, moving our season record to 19-15-2. We got off to a rough start, after Washington came nowhere near covering the 11-point spread in their 45-10 thumping courtesy of the Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers took care of business as small favorites against Jake Browning and the Bengals, and the Eagles pushed the 3-point spread in their wild overtime triumph against the Buffalo Bills.

We only need the Philadelphia Eagles to not lose by more than 8 points, and we will win our teaser bet from last week. That's a pretty good feeling heading into tonight's midseason Super Bowl. The first leg was for the Minnesota Vikings to also not lose by more than 8 points. They ended up falling short to the Denver Broncos 21-20. This one wasn’t a sweat at all.

Paychex remains in second place with a 4-1 record and 14-1 over the last three weeks to move to 38-12 (76%) just ahead of Rgriff70 37-13 (74%). Bmarks3 dropped out of the top-3 going 1-4 and 34-16 (68%). I went 4-1 and moved to 29-16 (64.4%). The Colts started us off with a win in Germany, taking advantage of a poor Patriots offense to win their second straight. The Vikings kept the winning going, winning outright as 2.5-point underdogs thanks to another great game from Joshua Dobbs.
