After a blazing 3-0 start on our teaser bets, we fell short in Week 4 when the Miami Dolphins couldn’t stop the Buffalo Bills in the red zone. The other underdog, the Seattle Seahawks, that we teased, won outright 24-3, though. That felt good, but we were way off on Miami.

The first quarter of the NFL season is now behind us, and it’s safe to say we’ve seen enough from each team to get an accurate estimate of where they are at. Favorites went 12-4 straight up, and 9-6-1 ATS. The favorites covered in 9 of the 16 games for the second straight week, but they weren’t able to light up the scoreboards, as the Over cashed in just 6/16 contests. Last week, we went 1-2 ATS, moving our season record to an even 6-6.

Genius Sports is the exclusive distributor of the NFL Official League Data and live in-game video streams to various sportsbooks on a global stage. The company is launching BetVision for the 2023 NFL season. Caesars Sportsbook and Fanatics are the first two US sportsbooks to use live NFL streaming in their sports betting and BetRivers will come on board later this football season.

OBM’s sole loss was when the Cowboys failed to cover the -12.5 points against the Cardinals last week.

The NFL season is nearing the end of the opening quarter, and the standings are beginning to take shape. The favorites went 9-7 straight up and ATS in Week 4. It was our first negative week as we went 1-2 on our picks, bringing our season record to 5-4 ATS. The Ravens lost outright as massive 8-point favorites thanks to an overtime field goal from Matt Gay, and the Titans didn’t even come close to covering the 3.5-point spread in their 27-3 drubbing at the hands of the Browns.

The NFL season has closed the book on an action-packed Week 2, as the Overs went an astonishing 13-3, after going 4-12 in Week 1. Week 2 was our second consecutive week of going 2-1 ATS, moving our season record to 4-2. The Bears failed to cover the 3-point spread after throwing a late pick six, but the other two picks cashed as the Dolphins easily covered the -2, and the Rams covered the 8 points thanks to a last second field goal.

Circa Millions V faced more than $1.5 million overlay in the three days leading to the contest sign-up deadline but added 826 entries to bring the overlay to $726,000 and a robust prize pool of $1 million to the winner. The Westgate Resorts Supercontest added 301 entries but has not published an official prize pool tally as of yet.
