Griffin enters camp as the starter but has to prove he is worthy of the $16.2 million option the team picked up for 2016. Definitely a transition season in San Diego. The team could be on the move to Los Angeles for 2016. Quarterback Philip Rivers is in the final year of his contract. The Bolts feel like one of those teams that could win 10 games or lose 10 and it really wouldn't surprise. Keep in mind that star tight end Antonio Gates, who might be in his final season, is suspended the first four games of the season for PED use.

Atlanta may still have Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White, but the team has undergone an overhaul after missing the playoffs last season for the second straight year. The biggest change was hiring former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn as the club's new head coach, replacing the fired Mike Smith. He brought in Kyle Shanahan as his offensive coordinator, so expect the Falcons to run a bit more with his new zone blocking scheme.

I actually think Jacksonville is on the right track as there is some good talent on this club. And it has the fifth-youngest projected starting lineup in the NFL. The Jaguars probably will start one rookie and five second-year players on opening day. Unfortunately, one rookie who won't be starting is Dante Fowler, the No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft. The pass rusher from Florida suffered a season-ending torn ACL during workouts in May.

The Vikings have what looks to be a keeper at quarterback in second-year Teddy Bridgewater. After a predictably shaky start to his rookie season, the final pick of the 2014 first round completed 72.1 percent of his passes over his last five games, the NFL's second-highest mark during that period.
