On Tuesday night, the Bucks played the first end of a back-to-back, defeating the Wizards 123-113. Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a season high 55 points, shooting 20/33 from the floor, and adding 10 rebounds and 7 assists along the way. Brook Lopez also shot well, going 10/13 tacking on 21 points, as Milwaukee avoided the 2-game sweep from the Wizards.

On Friday night, the Bucks took down the Timberwolves 123-114, led by who else, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The ‘Greek Freak’ put up 43 points to go along with 20 rebounds and was effective on both ends of the court. Jrue Holiday and George Hill were both out with illnesses, while Middleton remains out with various ailments, so it was nice to see Antetokounmpo get the job done on his own. Bobby Portis chipped in with 22 points, but this team clearly belongs to Antetokounmpo.

On Wednesday night, the Bucks lost to the Chicago Bulls in overtime, by a score of 119-113. This stretches the Bucks losing streak to 4 games, all of which have been by a margin of 6+ points. Despite the loss, Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of his best games of the season, pouring in 45 points, 22 rebounds and 7 assists. The Bucks lost due to the poor guard play from Grayson Allen and company, who were forced to step up in the absence of Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday.

On Christmas Day, the Bucks lost to the Celtics 139-118, stretching the Bucks losing streak to 3 games. Losing on the road to the league leaders is no reason to be alarmed, but the fact that they’ve lost by an average margin of 15.7 points during the losing skid is worrisome. Offensively, the Bucks played well against the Celtics, shooting 50% from the floor and 36% from behind the arc.

On Friday night, the Bucks fell to the Nets by a score of 118-100, for their first 2-game losing streak since November 14. The lack of scoring depth that has hurt the Nets throughout the season was not present, with 6 players putting up 12+ points, including a season-high 19 points from Nic Claxton. For the Bucks, they were unable to consistently generate offense, and struggled from behind the arc, going just 9/37 from deep.

On Wednesday, the Bucks fell to the Cavaliers 114-106. Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a season high 45 points, shooting 17/27 from the floor, but it was not enough to get the job done. The rest of the team shot poorly, with Jrue Holiday going 3/12, Grayson Allen going 2/7 and Jevon Carter going 2/8. The Cavs played well defensively, and Donovan Mitchell put up 36 for the home team.

On Monday night, the Bucks took down the Pelicans 128-119, ensuring their 5-game road trip started out with a victory. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a game high 42 points in his double-double performance, shooting 12/17 from the floor and 17/22 from the charity stripe. Antetokounmpo continues to play at an MVP level. And as long as he remains healthy, there is no reason this Bucks team can’t win the championship.

On Thursday night, the Grizzlies blew the Bucks out, winning by a score of 142-101. The Bucks were down 29 points at the half, ensuring the game as a contest was over, and both teams emptied out their bench for the second half. Khris Middleton put up 3 points, shooting 1/12 from the floor, as he continues to struggle in his return from a wrist injury. For the Grizzlies, 8 players finished with 10+ points, ensuring a comfortable win in front of their home crowd.

On Tuesday night, the Bucks beat up on the Golden State Warriors, emerging victorious by a score of 128-111. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 30 points, but it was Bobby Portis who shone brightest, putting up a season high 25 points shooting 11/14 from the floor. Khris Middleton chipped in with 20 points, the highest mark since his return from injury, as the Bucks looked far and away the better team against the defending champions. Their perimeter defense was able to limit Steph Curry to just 20 points, shooting 6/17 in the defeat.

On Friday night, the Bucks took down the Dallas Mavericks 106-105. Luka Doncic put up a game high 33 points, but it was not enough as the Mavericks missed their final 6 free throws down the stretch, costing them the victory. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 28 points before fouling out late, but the Bucks were able to hang on without their star.

Throughout the year, I will be breaking down each Milwaukee Bucks contest and giving out my best bets for each matchup. This will include spreads, totals, moneylines, and player props. And while we may not always favor the Bucks, the goal is to churn a consistent profit. Using my knowledge of the Bucks, and the league as a whole, we will be able to remain in the green by the end of the season.

On Monday, the Bucks took down the Orlando Magic 109-102, moving to 17-6 on the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team, scoring 34 points and chipping in 13 rebounds, while the Magic had a very balanced scoring attack, as four players scored 19+ points. Beating the dead last Magic is nothing to get too excited about, but taking care of business on the road can always prove challenging. From a betting perspective, we went 1-1. The Bucks failed to cover the 9.5-point spread, despite being up 19 points in the second half. However, fortunately, Paolo Bachero soared above his 2.5 assists prop, dishing out a season high 7 dimes on Monday.

Khris Middleton made his return from injury, scoring 17 points in 27 minutes, while the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, putting up 40 and 28, respectively. On Wednesday night, the Bucks took down the Knicks 109-103 extending their win streak to 3 games. They were led by a monster performance from the usual suspect, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak put up 37 points to go along with his 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Antetokounmpo continues to dominate at both ends of the court, and the rising supporting cast makes this team a very fun one to watch.

Last Friday night, the Bucks took on the Cavaliers, and overcame a 16-point deficit to win 117-102. Unfortunately, we went 0-3 on our bets as the score finished just Over 217, Darius Garland finished 2 points short at 20, and the Cavs blew a 16-point first half lead. As I’ve said before, long term consistency is the objective. The Bucks were led by 38 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo as he continues to carry this Bucks team. After beating the Mavericks on Sunday, the Bucks look to extend their win streak to 3 games and close the gap on the Celtics for the number 1 seed.

On Wednesday night, the Bucks fell to the Bulls by a score of 118-113, on their home court. Giannis Antetokounmpo and DeMar DeRozan both scored 36 points, but the Bulls role players stepped up when they needed to in the 4th quarter. From a betting standpoint, we went 0-2. The Bucks failed to cover the 6.5 points we were asked to lay, and DeRozan easily cleared his 25.5 points prop. We rightfully treaded lightly, as it was a trap game for the Bucks, so the damage was minimal.

Monday night, the Bucks took down the Portland Trail Blazers, 119-111, after leading for the entire second half. Our biggest bet of the night was on Over 214.5, which cashed with ease, while we lost the two smaller bets on Jerami Grant Over 20.5 Points (He finished with 18), and Bucks -10 (They won by 8). We were close to a sweep, but finished even on units, so I can’t complain. Once again, the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 37 points, shooting 16/24 from the field.
