Last week the Las Vegas Hilton released its season win totals for the NBA season. While most online books are yet to post any NBA season wins ‘over/unders’ the Hilton’s numbers serve as a great baseline for what we can expect from the other sportsbooks. This offseason the New Jersey Nets got rid of their most popular player in Vince Carter. Carter was traded to Orlando for Courtney Lee and Rafer Alston. This is a move that could prove beneficial down the road as they took a huge chunk out of their salary cap. And, as a matter of fact, it seems pretty obvious that the Nets are simply priming their spot at the front of the line for the 2010 free agency period.
