I can't believe the WNBA tips off Saturday, and the real shocker is that this year is the WNBA's historic 20th season. It seems like yesterday I was doing WNBA numbers in Las Vegas for the first season and the bosses were making fun of me for just watching the WNBA.

by Trevor Whenham - 11/26/2015
The Grey Cup will be hoisted for the 103rd time by the Canadian Football League champion on Sunday night. It's a study in contrasts. The Edmonton Eskimos are one of the great franchises in the league - they have won the trophy 13 times, including five in a row from 1978 to 1982 when they were quarterbacked by NFL Hall of Famer Warren Moon. The Ottawa Redblacks, meanwhile, are an expansion team making the championship game in just their second year in existence.

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is being calleda mega flop, but the Las Vegas sportsbooks were happy with the outcome. Not only is the biggest fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, but on that day you have the Kentucky Derby, MLB Baseball, NHL Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, and the last day of the NFL Draft.

The 49th Super Bowl is coming up in a few months, but Canadians just aren’t impressed. Canada’s football championship, the Grey Cup, will be contested for the 102nd time on Nov. 30 in Vancouver. Now the three teams in each division that remain will play down to one representative in the big game over the next two weeks.
