Last Saturday night at UFC 229 in Las Vegas we witnessed the biggest PPV in UFC history, but the post-fight brawl will be what the public will remember! It's been a couple of days since the chaos, but instead of talking about the melee after the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor fight, we can bet on the next move for both fighters.
Canelo vs. GGG Odds: Expert Betting Predictions for Saturday's Rematch
by Chris Vasile - 9/10/2018
It has been just more than a year since the sporting world stopped what they were doing and tuned in to the biggest pay-per-view event in recent memory. You probably know what I'm talking about without even mentioning it; that's how captivating it was. If you don't, well shame on you for missing out. I'm talking about the Floyd Mayweather vs Connor McGregor "fight" that took place on Aug. 26, 2017. Now, while it was more of a sideshow than a legitimate boxing match, it did serious pay-per-view numbers and got boxing fans wanting more.

How to Bet Boxing: Advice from Experts on Wagering and Handicapping Fights
by Chris Vasile - 8/23/2018
Sport is a beautiful thing. On any given night, two teams chock full of the best athletes in the world, or two single competitors, face off against each other in hopes of beating their opponent and claiming victory. Most of the time the better team/player prevails, but sometimes, when you least expect it, something insane takes place that leaves everyone scratching their head and wondering what the hell just happened. For many boxing fans, that night was on Feb. 11, 1990.

2018 Winter Olympics Betting Advice: Value Bets
by Trevor Whenham - 2/13/2018
I'm kind of obsessed with the Winter Olympics. When they were held in my hometown of Calgary in 1988 my grandfather was the president of the games, so I grew up around the Olympics. They are a far different animal than they were back then - far more complex and less pure - but they are still very compelling. It also doesn't hurt that Canadians are pretty good at the games. As fun as they are to watch, the Olympics can be pretty good to bet on as well. As always, there are some bets that are much better than others.
2018 Winter Olympics Wagering Advice and Tips: Bets to Avoid
by Trevor Whenham - 2/13/2018
I love watching the Winter Olympics, and I love betting on them. Often we find ourselves drawn to the heavy favorites in many events. So far, for example, Chloe Kim in the snowboard halfpipe, Mikael Kingsbury in the moguls, Dutch speed skaters, and Norwegian skiers have all delivered as prohibitive favorites. But favorites don't always come through - especially in more volatile events. The trick to betting success, then, is to know which favorites aren't worth the gamble. Here are six favorites I'll be steering clear of (odds are from Bovada):
Bitcoin Sports Betting Information and Tutorial

In order to completely understand what Bitcoin (BTC) is and how it's used, we must first ask ourselves "what is a dollar?" and what makes that currency unique. Obviously, a U.S. dollar is the regulated currency for the United States - just like the Canadian dollar (Loonie) is to Canada, the Peso is to Mexico and the Pound is to the United Kingdom. Bitcoin (BTC) is a digital cryptocurrency that has become somewhat of an alternative form of currency compared to the standard dollar.

Today's society is a copycat society. If somebody sees something they like, or if they see someone do something they approve of, chances of them replicating -- or at least trying to replicate - what they saw is high. For example, people follow fashion trends like their lives depend on it regardless if it involves wearing something that looks completely ridiculous. In the music world, every passing year features some sort of theme that gives us a bunch of songs that sound the same or have lyrics referring to the same thing.
Bitcoin Sports Gambling History and Future

In 1785, The Continental Congress of the United States of America - which was then comprised of 13 colonies from Great Britain - authorized the issuance of a new currency called the U.S. Dollar. However, due to inflation and the subsequent collapse of the aforementioned Continental Congress, delegates from each of the 13 States were forced to include a "Gold and Silver" clause to the United States constitution, which prevented individual states from issuing their own bills of credit.
How to Use Bitcoin: A Sports Betting Introduction
by Chris Vasile - 1/15/2018
In case you haven't heard, there is a new cryptocurrency that has taken the world by storm and has created a buzz similar to the invention of the internet itself. This seemingly overnight rise to riches and foray into the mainstream media has left a cryptocurrency called Bitcoin (BTC) on the tips of everyone's tongue.
Advantages of Using Bitcoin for Sports Betting
by Chris Vasile - 1/15/2018
In today's fast paced and ever-changing world, the sudden rise of Bitcoin (BTC) over the course of the last 12 months has caught everyone off guard (to me, everyone means around 99 percent of the general public). But what people fail to realize is that Bitcoin (BTC) has been relevant since it's inception in 2010 when it was on the market for just $0.003 per share. Bitcoin's rags-to-riches story didn't exactly happen overnight. It had six years prior to the boom of 2017, where it's market value would rise and fall just like any other stock that was offered up for purchasing.
Sports Betting Sites That Accept Bitcoin

In an industry as big as the sports betting market, attracting new clientele is one of the most important aspects of how sportsbooks run their day-to-day business. Each sportsbook is generally run under the same set of guidelines. However, because they are each their own entity, they have the right to tweak any rules or stipulations in accordance to their fine print. For example, some books offer up "reduced juice" lines while some sports book offer up extended or over-the-top bonuses to attract new clients with "free money". The decision of where you invest your money is entirely up to you, and it is entirely based what you want to get out of your sportsbook.
Free CFL Picks for Playoffs from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 11/10/2017
The 18-game CFL regular season has given way to the postseason and the quest for the 2017 Grey Cup Championship. Toronto in the East and Calgary in the West earned a first-round bye by winning each division title. This Sunday in a pair of division semifinal matchups, the other four playoff teams will look to take that next step towards winning this year's title.
Free CFL Picks Week 12 from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 9/6/2017
One of the betting angles that is unique to the CFL is a home-and-home series where two teams play one another in consecutive weeks. Since there are only nine teams in this league playing an 18-game regular season, there is a much higher level of familiarity with one another, especially when playing two games in back-to-back weeks.
Free CFL Picks Week 11 from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 8/30/2017
I didn't see Edmonton's meltdown against Saskatchewan coming with last week's free pick in what was probably the most shocking upset in the CFL this season. I think this upset was actually more of a case of the Roughriders being underrated as opposed to Edmonton being overrated. In light of this, I decided to go with Saskatchewan's key home game this week against Winnipeg for my free CFL pick of the week for Doc's.
Free CFL Picks Week 10 from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 8/23/2017
Sometimes you just know when to go against a team no matter how good it is playing at that particular time. That is why I went against Edmonton last week as the only undefeated team in the CFL to cash in on my free weekly pick for Doc's after the Eskimos fell to Winnipeg 33-26 as slight one-point road favorites. I also know that Edmonton is still one of the best teams in the league, so that is why I am jumping back on its bandwagon in Week 10.
Free CFL Picks Week 9 from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 8/16/2017
There are four head-to-head division battles on tap in Week 9 of the CFL season that could have a big impact on both title races. The West remains leaps and bounds ahead of the East with a combined straight up record of 25-10 while a record of 3-4 SU is good enough for the lead in the other division. Edmonton has led the way with a perfect start, but getting that eighth straight win could be tougher than expected.
Free CFL Picks Week 8 from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 8/9/2017
The current disparity in talent between the CFL's West Division and the East has been a goldmine for sports bettors this season. While Calgary easily covered against Toronto in last week's inter-division 41-24 romp, I cashed in my winning pick on the "over" 54.5 points in that game.
