A new week has started in the MLB. That means we’re a week closer to the playoffs and the conclusion of the MLB season. The season ends by the end of September, and half of the league will be packing their bags. The pressure is starting to build on teams on the cusp. Here are the leans for Tuesday, September 8 action in the MLB.
Free MLB Picks Saturday 9/5/2020 and Opening Line Report
by Jason Radowitz - 9/4/2020
This weekend we’ve broken records. On Friday, we had the most games played in a single day with 20. Now we’ll add even more double-headers to Saturday’s card and make this weekend the craziest weekend in baseball history. Madison Bumgarner will make his return to the mound against his former team, the San Francisco Giants, while other teams are hoping their young prospects and pitchers can make a difference as we approach three weeks left in the MLB season. Here are the leans for Saturday’s MLB action.
Free MLB Picks Friday 9/4/2020 and Opening Line Report
by Jason Radowitz - 9/3/2020
Friday’s MLB slate is full of double-headers. Many handicappers, including myself, will automatically fade double-headers and look for angles between two teams playing just one game, especially with double-header games being just seven innings. For the first time in a long time, it looks like we’ll have a full MLB slate with the Oakland Athletics returning to action. Here are some MLB leans for Friday’s slate.
Free MLB Picks Thursday 9/3/2020 and Opening Line Report
by Jason Radowitz - 9/2/2020
It’s a small MLB slate for Thursday, but there’s still some value and exciting match-ups. In Texas, bettors and MLB fans are getting a match-up between Zack Greinke of the Astros and Lance Lynn of the Rangers. The total is sitting extremely low, but it might still be beneficial to look at the under. Here are leans for some of the action on Thursday’s MLB card.

After the trade deadline, we can now assess the contenders and pretenders. The teams that have depleted their teams will more than likely lose their fair shares of games in September, before the season ends. There are a couple spots and angles between contenders and pretenders. Here are the leans for September 2 in the MLB.
Free MLB Picks Tuesday 9/1/2020 and Opening Line Report

The trade deadline has passed, and playoff pushes have begun. Some teams bolstered their rotation, while some teams bolstered their farm system with players to be named later. With that said, there are plenty of games with value and some exciting pitching matchups for Tuesday’s MLB slate to start September off.

Wednesday’s MLB slate features plenty of rivalries and exciting match-ups between potential playoff teams next month. Clayton Kershaw will take the mound against the Giants late on the slate, while Sonny Gray will make his seventh start of the season against the Brewers with a 2.21 ERA. Here are the leans for some of the MLB action on Wednesday.
Free MLB Picks Tuesday 8/25/2020 and Opening Line Report
by Jason Radowitz - 8/24/2020
Tuesday’s MLB slate features plenty of ace pitchers and many edges that can be taken advantage of. Above all of that, we’ll also get to watch Matt Harvey’s second start with the Royals after the first start was average at best. The Twins and Indians will continue competing for the No. 1 spot in the AL Central. AL Cy Young hopeful Shane Bieber will take the hill for the Indians and go up against Rich Hill, who has been everything but an ace this season in two starts. There are so many games that we can’t cover every game in the MLB daily. Here are leans for five games on the MLB slate.
2020 MLB Rookie of the Year Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Jason Radowitz - 7/17/2020
Being a rookie in 2020 can’t be a good feeling knowing you’re only going to play a third of a season. However, there will be many rookies given a chance with plenty of players opting out of the 2020 season due to the Corona Virus worldwide pandemic. Here are the rookies that are in line for a solid workload in 2020:
2020 MLB MVP Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Jason Radowitz - 7/14/2020
As bettors, we’ve never been in this sort of pickle before. With a shortened season on the horizon, it’s hard to know what the MVP’s stats will look like when all is said and done. Will there be multiple hitters hitting better than .350? Can a starting pitcher get so hot to start the season and never lose a game?
KBO Predictions and Expert Korean Baseball Analysis
by Robert Ferringo - 5/4/2020
Do you remember the part in the movie Major League where a construction worker, upon seeing the Cleveland Indians roster in the newspaper, turns to his fellow worker and says, “Who are these f@#king guys?” That pretty much sums it up when it comes to the Korean Baseball Organization.
Korean Baseball Betting Advice: What to Know About The KBO
by Robert Ferringo - 5/4/2020
While Major League Baseball is still on hiatus, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) has its opening day on Tuesday, May 5. Several of these games, played in South Korea, will be broadcast live on ESPN with potential re-airings throughout the day.
MLB Triple Crown Winners
by Strike Point Sports - 4/21/2020
The sport of baseball has a storied past and is considered ‘America’s Pastime’ for good reason. The crack of the bat, the blazing summer sunshine, and the smell of a ballpark hotdog are all things that many of us grew up with and still dream of.
Cactus League Observations: MLB Predictions for Cubs, Indians, Royals and Brewers
by Doug Upstone - 3/23/2020
The Joe Madden era is over, and David Ross takes over as manager. The hope for management is that it will toughen up this team mentally. However, the sense you get by not upgrading the starting pitcher and those persistent Kris Bryant trade rumors is that the ownership paid a ton of money to rebuild, change the feel of the park and surrounding area and still got a World Series title and is content to rake in profits.
Cactus League Observations: MLB Predictions for Giants, Padres, Reds and Diamondbacks
by Doug Upstone - 3/18/2020
With Bruce Boche riding off into the sunset, the remnants from three World Series titles are Buster Posey, Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford for San Francisco. The Giants somehow won 77 games last year. And with no Madison Bumgarner, the expectations are considerably lower. All three of the players mentioned are in their 30's, with their best days behind them, and we'll have to see if the new dimensions of Oracle Park add to their offense and those of their teammates.
Cactus League Observations: MLB Predictions for Rockies, Angels, Dodgers and White Sox
by Doug Upstone - 3/17/2020
This spring, like the last 15 years, I toured the Cactus League in Arizona and got a feel for all the teams. With baseball shut down and not expected until mid-May, at the earliest, we don't know what the season will look like going ahead. However, this doesn't change my perspective of what I saw, read or believe at this point.
Expert MLB Handicapping: Nationals Surging After Slow Start
by Trevor Whenham - 6/7/2019
This is not how they told us that this was going to turn out. The Nationals lost Bryce Harper, their biggest star ever, this offseason - to their divisional rival, no less. But they didn't really put up a real fight to keep him, and they were very vocal about their insistence that they were going to be just fine. I don't want to be critical, but 28-33 is, by no measure, just fine, especially for a team with high expectations.
Expert MLB Baseball Handicapping: Home Runs Equal Betting Success?
by Trevor Whenham - 6/4/2019
We are in a golden age for home runs in Major League Baseball. The 1,135 home runs hit this May set an all-time record. Four of the top five all-time home run months have happened in the last three years. And the single team record for home runs, set just last year by the Yankees, is in danger of getting crushed this season.
Expert MLB Wagering Advice: Big-Name Pitchers Struggling at Betting Window
by Trevor Whenham - 6/4/2019
One of the challenges for more casual baseball bettors is that it is easy to get lazy and just trust a pitcher's name and reputation when deciding who to bet on. When a big-name pitcher is delivering much less than big name performances, then, it can really be costly. Here are five pitchers with strong, well-earned reputations who are just putting bettors' money in piles and burning it with regularity this year:
