2025 A.J. Brown Super Bowl Props: Odds and Expert Betting Picks
With Super Bowl LIX rapidly approaching, the vast majority of bettors continue to sit on their hands. Sometimes, that can be their best option. However, if you want to follow the narrative, I recommend getting your bets in sooner rather than later.
The cumulative effect of the people I listen to, read from, or talk with, remains in the middle concerning picking a side in the game. I'm not sure much will change from now until kickoff other than the point spread or total changing half of a point to a whole point.
Besides the near-even moneyline odds and likely scintillating Super Bowl, the best thing about the big game is the record-setting number of prop bets available. Typically, you don't want to get too deep into the corn maze because the odds can grow like weeds. This, of course, can make wagers unplayable, but since we have so many, bettors' money has thankfully been spread out.
Therefore, if you search hard enough, there is plenty of value to be had. Today, we will cover four player props for the semi-disgruntled Philadelphia Eagles WR1, A.J. Brown.
It wasn't long ago that Brown was one of the most productive wideouts in the NFL. Last season, in particular, he had a career year tractor-beaming in over 100 receptions for 1,456 yards. In 2022, he had fewer catches but more total yardage, evidenced by a yards/rec average of 17.0.
In 2024, though, with the addition of Saquon Barkley, Brown was only targeted 87 times, the second-lowest total of his career.
Because of this, however, we’re getting some excellent value on a man who remains one of the best WR1s in the NFL.

Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +170
Brown is a bit far down the list of offensive stars on their anytime touchdown scorer prop-betting odds. Five players have shorter odds of scoring a touchdown, including Chiefs’ rookie wideout Xavier Worthy.
People forget that he caught six balls for nearly 100 yards and a touchdown when these two teams met in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago.
There are a few things to discuss regarding how he matches up with Kansas City. The Chiefs will load up the box to stop Barkley. They don't have a choice. Also, even with a strong CB1 like Trent McDuffie, KC struggled with true WR1s this year. This has aided a lot of McDuffie's success.
Brown has found the end zone in four of his previous six games, five of which came against playoff teams.
Pick: Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +170
Brown and DaVonta Smith Either Player to Score a Touchdown: -130
I understand if you don't want to bet on Brown to score a TD, as he only had seven this season. In that case, a much more likely bet to cash will tickle your fancy feet. I hear many sharp guys talking about how DaVonta Smith could have a bigger game than his teammate.
It makes sense because the KC secondary is top-heavy with McDuffie. Let’s not make it a competition between these two, though. Take either wideout to score a touchdown in Super Bowl LIX.
Pick: Brown and DaVonta Smith Either Player to Score a Touchdown: -130
Brown Anytime Score and Eagles Win: +360
Another choose-your-own-adventure option from the first pick is to take Brown to score a touchdown and the Eagles to win the game. I’m already on Philly to get the win, and if Brown scores a touchdown, it only increases the likelihood. Let’s turn a full 360.
Pick: Brown Anytime Score and Eagles Win: +360
Brown Over 5.5 Receptions: +120
When we spoke about some of Brown’s betting odds retaining more value due to his down year, this is the perfect example. A big part of Brown being targeted less this season than any other besides his rookie year with the Tennessee Titans was simply a product of his team’s success.
Including the playoffs, the Eagles were 15-1 this season with Brown on the field. Their only loss in a game he played was when they didn't have Jalen Hurts.
Quickly doing the math in my head, that makes them 15-0 when both their star quarterback and wide receiver are in the lineup. These points apply to our previous prop bet as well.
I don't think we have a massive edge here. However, this line should be at (-110). We said it before, but it bears repeating. KC has to stop Barkley first. This will open up the play-action pass, quick screen game, or the 10-yard hook routes that the Eagles love to use to get Brown the ball.
Pick: Brown Over 5.5 Receptions: +120
