Week 15 NFL Odds - Lookahead Lines - Picks & Best Bet Predictions
I know it's going by fast. It always does, but yes, it's only Week 14 of the NFL regular season. What I wanted to do today for you guys is to look at the betting odds for the Week 15 games. There are no byes in Week 15, and you'll see below that we have some beautiful betting spots to attack the lookahead lines.
A lookahead line isn't the opening line. These betting odds are released Tuesday afternoon for the following week's games.
You might think, man, it's hard enough to bet the NFL just before the game. It's even more challenging to pick a game early in the same week. Getting any positive expected value on the betting line is virtually impossible just before kickoff.
You have more info, but make no mistake, you're paying for it. If that works for you, please continue. If you're betting a teaser, I would wait until just before kickoff until I placed my bet. We want the market to be the most efficient for those bets.
Conversely, when choosing the best bets for the look-ahead lines, we absolutely want to beat the market. There are advantages to following the steam, but honestly, this has been a challenging year for the pros as many of their trends have fallen flat. Everyone who chased the Panthers through the first few weeks of the season has to make up for that.
We went 1-1 on our lookahead lines best bets last week, but that was after a 6-0 stretch. For Week 14, we have the Bengals vs Cowboys to go over 45 points on Monday Night Football. The current point total is 49.5. That's four points of positive EV and counting. Our other play was on the Saints at (-3.5) against the Giants. The line is now up to 5, and it may get even higher as the public and sharps look to fade in New York.
If you're betting the game the week of, you're not getting multiple points of EV. Maybe you get half a point to a point, if anything.

NFL Week 15 Lookahead Lines Best Bets
New England Patriots (+6.5) at Arizona Cardinals Odds (-6.5) Total: 44.5
(Dec 15th at 4:25 PM Glendale, AZ)
We failed to fade the Panthers at (-6) for the Bucs last week. That doesn't mean we change a winning formula. The New England Patriots were blown out on the road in Miami, a divisional opponent in Week 12. That was the sharpest play of the week.
What's the difference against the Cardinals? They travel three time zones farther, it's three weeks closer to tanking time, and Arizona will be playing for their potential postseason lives.
The Patriots' run defense is stout, but they are continually beat in the secondary. It's too late in the season for Kyler Murray to take a week off. I project a huge game for Marvin Harrison Jr., who played well and caught a touchdown last week against the Vikings' defense.
Cincinnati Bengals (-4) at Tennessee Titans Odds (+4) Total: 49
(Dec 15th at 1:00 PM Nashville, TN)
We're altering the equation slightly for this game. Cincy is out of it. They're toast, and it surprised a lot of us how much they let the Steelers beat up on them. However, I don't see a franchise that recently re-discovered its pride tanking in Week 15. Joe Burrow is too good, and more importantly, he is far too competitive.
The Bengals will be out for blood as the season winds down. It's a shame this offense wasted a year because the GM couldn't put a defense together.
Four points is fine with me. It's a quick flight, and I think Tennessee is done now. They had their “Super Bowl win” over the first-place division rival Texans two weeks ago.
This isn't the first good defense Burrow and the boys will carve up. They've put up a combined 99 against the Steelers, Chargers, and Ravens over the past three weeks.
