Taylor Swift props odds for the Super Bowl

For those of you who like to gamble but don't really like sports, 2024 is your year. Not only can you wager on the upcoming presidential election, but football has graced us (conspired against us if you believe the ultra-rightwing) with the chance to bet on Taylor Swift and her actions/appearances during the Super Bowl.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of months, you've mostly likely heard about the blossoming romance between world-famous artist Swift and the Kansas City Chief's All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce. Because the Super Bowl is the game that features the most prop bets, and oddsmakers rarely let an opportunity like romance go by, we have started setting odds for a variety of different prop bets revolving around Swift and her appearances and actions during the Big Game.

I'll have to admit, some of the prop bets that have been inspired by Swift are pretty ingenious. DraftKings sportsbook has a whole tab under their Super Bowl Prop Bets category that is labeled "For the Swifties" that has tied in Taylor Swift's songs and albums to actual football performances. Here are a few of the 25 that DK has listed:

22- Any quarter to have 22+points scored (+400): If you're expecting a high-scoring game, this wager, titled after one of Swift's many Top 10 hits, has a decent chance of hitting as it just needs 3 TDs and any score to cash. If the Chiefs score the first TD and then go for the 2-point conversion, either Travis Kelce or Andy Reid have some action on this wager.

Fifteen- Patrick Mahomes 15+rush yards and 215+ pass yards (-140): The lowest-priced Swift-inspired props, this wager, which ends up basically being an alternative-line bet, warrants strong consideration as Mahomes' actual props for rushing and passing are 26.5 and 261.5, respectively.

How to get the Girl- Travis Kelce to score a TD in each half (+1000): Out of 180 total games (regular season and playoffs), Kelce has scored two or more TDs 13 times. Out of those 13 games, Kelce has hit paydirt five times in each half, including this year against Buffalo in the playoffs. It pays to do research, though, as this exact wager is +900 under the "To Score in Both Halves" tab.

Of course, if you don't want to bet on the game but want to wager on Taylor herself, your "Wildest Dreams" have come true! Here are a few of the interesting props involving "T-Swizzle" herself:

Swift's travel from Japan to Las Vegas to be shown on CBS: Yes (+400) No (-700)

Taylor and Travis to be shown kissing on Feb. 11: Yes (-180) No (+140)

Will Donna Kelce hug Taylor on CBS Broadcast: Yes (-120) No (-120)

Will the MVP mention Taylor in his speech: Yes (+650) No (-1200)

Will Travis propose to Taylor: Yes (+1060) No (-3000)

Total TV Camera shots: Over 5.5 (-175) Under 5.5 (+135)

Taylor Swift to wear an outfit made by Kristin Juszczyk: Yes (+190) No (-230): Kristin Juszczyk is the wife of San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk. Swift helped put Kristin's clothing line on the global map by wearing one of her NFL-themed jackets in Kansas City's wild-card game against Miami. It's doubtful that she will give Taylor another outfit in a game where their respective men are opponents.

There are a couple of these props that offer some decent value. First, the Taylor and Travis kissing wager at -180 is almost free money. If Kansas City wins, Kelce and Swift will obviously be elated and want to celebrate, lip-locking style. However, if the Chiefs lose, Taylor will want to console her man, most likely with a smooch. Of all the Taylor bets, the odds of this one are off the most and represent the biggest value for the bettor.

The long-shot prop that deserves some consideration is "Will the MVP mention Taylor in his speech" at +650. If you think that Kelce will win the MVP, which is entirely possible, then I think Kelce is the type of guy to throw some love towards his beau.
