Brace yourselves for another big night of NBA action with our carefully chosen prop bets. With a lot of basketball to digest and research to be had, we have your back. Our picks went 2-3 last week (16-13 overall), and we will try and improve on that mark this week. Doc’s Sports will break down some of tonight’s best plays on the hardwood.

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers, OVER 24.5 points (-115)

I love this spot for Leonard tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. He enters the contest averaging 23.9 points per game on the season and 24.0 over his last 10 games. He is shooting 52.8% from the floor for the 2023-24 campaign, which is good for 30th throughout the NBA. He is the Clippers best scorer and he should bring his best efforts against the rival Lakers. The over/under for this game is set at 235, so there should be plenty of scoring. In three games against the Lakers this season, Leonard is averaging 26.0 points a game. Leonard should be able to clear this total tonight.

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers, OVER 24.5 points (-110) and OVER 1.5 threes (-125)

Staying in the same game, look for LeBron to hit the over on his point total tonight against the Clippers. King James has been on a nice stretch over his last five games, and I see no reason why he slows down tonight. He has scored 25+ in four of his last five games and is coming off a 28-point performance over the Phoenix Suns. LeBron also loves to play against the Clippers, as he has cleared this total in five straight games against the LA rival. He is also averaging a tick over 36 minutes a game against the Clippers in his last five contests against them. I am also targeting his three-point total. Over the last seven games, the Clippers have allowed the 10th most threes to the small forward position. LeBron has also covered this total in 13 of his last 14 games. In what should be a high-scoring game, look for LeBron to score often.

Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets, UNDER 38.5 points + assists (-120)

Look for the Joker to flirt with this total but end up with the under on his points + assists prop bet against the Kings tonight. He has failed to clear this total in two games against the Kings already this season. Sacramento gives up the third least points to the center position and he will have to go head-to-head with Domantas Sabonis on both ends of the court.  In three games vs. the Kings this season, Jokic is averaging 24.7 points per game and 9.7 assists. In his last two games against tonight’s opponent, he has registered 23 and 30 points + assists totals. Look for the under in this matchup.

Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks, OVER 33.5 points (-110)

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA and has himself in the MVP conversation with Joel Embiid out for the foreseeable future. He leads the entire league in scoring with 34.5 points per game this season. The Mavs are coming off a heart-breaking loss to the Cavs in which Doncic dropped 45 points. Now he gets to face a 22-36 Toronto Raptors squad to get back in the win column. Luka can easily reach 35+ points tonight against Toronto.

Nikola Vucevic, Chicago Bulls, UNDER 18.5 points (-110)

Vucevic enters tonight’s contest against the Cavs averaging 34.5 minutes per game and 17.8 points per contest. He faces one of the better defenses in the NBA and the duo of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen should pose a tough matchup for the Bulls center. Over his last 10 games he is averaging exactly 17.0 points per contest. I expect the big man to struggle tonight against a talented frontcourt.
