Brace yourselves for another big night of NBA action with our carefully chosen prop bets. With a lot of basketball to digest and research to be had, we have your back. Our picks went 2-3 last week (9-6 overall) and we will try and improve on that mark this week. Doc’s Sports will break down some of tonight’s best plays on the hardwood.

Nikola Jokic, Nuggets, OVER 49.5 Points + Assist + Rebounds (-115)

The Denver Nuggets play for a second straight night on Friday night as they take on the Sacramento Kings. The Joker leads the Nuggets in points, assists, and rebounds with a combined average total of 47.5 a game. He has surpassed 48.5 in combined points, assists, and rebounds in eight of the last 15 games, including three of the last four. The last time Jokic and the Nuggets played the Kings in December, he easily passed this line by dropping 36 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 14 assists. I am keying in on Jokic to pass this total tonight.

Damian Lillard, Bucks, OVER 26.5 points (-105)

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night, and we love Lillard to reach 27 points. This will be the second game of a back-to-back, and the Bucks are coming off a 129-105 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Lillard is second on the team in scoring with 24.9 points per game. He has passed this total in five of his last 15 games but will be facing a Hornets defense that is surrendering 120.4 points per game, which is good for 25th in the NBA. I really like Lillard’s chances of eclipsing this total.

Tyrese Maxey, 76ers, UNDER 28.5 points (-110)

Maxey can go off at any time, but teams have been keying in on him defensively since Joel Embiid’s injury. He exploded for 51 points on February 1st against the Utah Jazz but has underperformed in the other four of the last five games. He scored 12 points against Golden State, 15 against the Mavs, 23 against the Nets, and 22 points vs. the Pacers. I am looking for the Hawks defense to smother Maxey on the offensive end and make his teammates beat them.

Jayson Tatum, Celtics, OVER 31.5 Points + Assists (-115)

This total is low, but oddsmakers expect this game to be a Celtics blow out against a very bad Washington Wizards team. The bright side is Tatum could clear this total by the third quarter. Looking at Tatum’s last five games, he has had 27 points + assists against the Hawks, 41 combined against Memphis, 26 against the Lakers in what was a surprising defeat, 37 combined against the Pacers, and 36 combined against the New Orleans Pelicans. Tatum is a super star, and I am willing to take the over on a low total in what could be a potential blow out.

Kyle Kuzma, Wizards, UNDER 7.5 rebounds (-120)

Staying with the Celtics and Wizards matchup, I am looking for Kyle Kuzma to hit the under on his rebound total tonight in Boston. He is averaging 6.4 rebounds a game during this season and grabbing 5.4 rebounds on the defensive end and 1.0 offensive rebound a game. The big bodies of Kristaps Porzingis, Jayson Tatum, and Al Horford could pose a problem to bringing down a bunch of boards. In Kuzma’s last five games he has four boards against the Cavs, four against the Heat, two against the Clippers, 11 against the Spurs, and six against the Pistons. This game could also be a potential blowout that could lead to more bench minutes in the fourth quarter for Kuzma and company. Take the under.
